Remember when we thought adults had everything figured out? Turns out, absolutely not.

On Episode 12 of The Sean Jackson Show, we’re talking about what we thought adulthood was going to look like versus what it actually became. The ages we thought we’d have everything figured out by, the things our parents did that suddenly make sense, the stuff we swore we would NEVER do, and the strangely satisfying accomplishments nobody warned us about.

Plus, we take a couple of detours into pregnancy smells, ketchup-based crime scene special effects, parking becoming a major factor in your social life, and other random foolishness.

Question of the Day: When you were younger, what did you think your life would look like at the age you are now?

And tell me this too: what’s something your parents used to do that makes PERFECT sense to you now?

Why does everything that was supposed to make life easier somehow come with more steps, more apps, more passwords, more fees, and more frustration?

In Episode 11 of The Sean Jackson Show, we’re talking about subscription overload, why canceling anything feels impossible, work schedules that don’t match kids’ school schedules, phones that seem to know a little too much, apps for everything, concert ticket fees, customer service robots, and all the tiny things that make modern life feel unnecessarily complicated.

Plus, we get into the bigger question: are we really bad at managing life, or are we just managing too many little things at once?

Question of the Day: What’s something that has gotten unnecessarily complicated?

When did everything we enjoy become something we're supposed to monetize?

In Episode 10 of The Sean Jackson Show, Sean talks about the pressure to turn every hobby into a side hustle, why so many of us struggle to simply relax, the Sunday Scaries, and what happens when fun starts feeling like work.

We also get into some of the conversations happening in the comments, including the latest update on the neighbor parking situation, whether people are avoiding you or just broke, location sharing in relationships, and why weekends seem to have become recovery periods instead of recreation.

If you’ve ever felt guilty for doing something that wasn’t “productive,” this conversation is for you.
