This episode welcomes Bluedive, an alternative rock band based in Los Angeles, California, which was initially formed in 2020 by singer-guitarist Aidan Dixon and bassist Sebastian Landa. They saw an upbringing of house shows and local venues before introducing drummer Nathaniel Miles-Urdan in late 2022 and guitarist Jad Maluf in early 2023. Inspired by bands such as The Smiths and Title Fight, the band brings a fresh mix of technical instrumentation along with catchy melodies and a smooth groove. Though a relatively young band, their songs are mature and intricately designed. A single genre doesn’t define their sound, but the beachy Los Angeles sound emanates throughout.

This episode we meet legendary musician Dallas Hodge. Dallas Hodge (born 1954) is an American blues rock singer, guitarist, songwriter, and record producer. He has released two solo albums since 2007, with the most recent, Don't Forget About The Music We Made (2019) appearing in the US Billboard Blues Albums Chart. Otherwise, Hodge is best known for his collaborations with Canned Heat and Steve Marriott.
