In today's episode, I discuss Psalms 3 and how even in the midst of adversity and affliction King David stood unwavering in God. God is not a blind God, and he is not a deaf God. God is a God who responds to the cries of his children; he will answer you. Don't allow affliction to separate you from God. Don't allow anything to cause you to move out of alignment with God's perfect will for your life. When the wind blows, stand firm! When the storms blow, stand firm! Declare: "I WILL NOT BE MOVED!"

”I will not fear though tens of thousands assail me on every side. Arise, Lord! Deliver me, my God!" Psalms 3:6-7

In today's episode, I discuss the symptoms and remedies of a full heart. A dull heart lacks interest in God, affecting all aspects of life. Lack of communion with the Lord leads to a dull heart, diminishing spiritual senses. When you are unplugged from God, your heart becomes full, and you are more vulnerable to spiritual attacks. Don’t allow the enemy to have a foothold in your life; keep your heart on fire, God!

In today's episode, I discuss how David commanded his soul to bless the Lord. You won't always feel like praising God. You won't always feel like worshipping God. In those moments, you must command your soul to bless the Lord. You must command your mouth to sing praises unto God. The more you worship God, the more you are reminded of what God has done for you, so you cannot forget his benefits. Don't get so caught up in always asking and receiving that you forget to thank God for all the good.

In today's episode, I discuss how sometimes what does not look like a distraction really is a distraction because it is pulling you away from Jesus. Martha was so distracted by doing preparations that she did not even recognize that she had been pulled away from Jesus, who was in the room with her. What looks like the right thing to do or what you should be doing can become a distraction that is disguised. Mary, whose heart was fixated on Jesus, put everything on a standstill and became absorbed with Jesus. Take inventory of your walk with Christ and allow him to expose to you those disguised distractions (the things that have been separating and pulling you away from him).

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:41-42

In today's episode, I discuss how the man of God from Judah in 1 Kings 13 was put to death due to his disobedience to the instructions from the Lord. When God speaks, the matter is settled. There is never an excuse for disobeying the Lord! The cost of disobedience is a hefty price that we don't think about while we are in the act of being disobedient. Disobedience puts you out of alignment with God's perfect will. Be the one that obeys the Lord regardless of how your flesh feels and what society is telling you to do. Obedience is better than sacrifice.
