In today's episode, I discuss how sometimes what does not look like a distraction really is a distraction because it is pulling you away from Jesus. Martha was so distracted by doing preparations that she did not even recognize that she had been pulled away from Jesus, who was in the room with her. What looks like the right thing to do or what you should be doing can become a distraction that is disguised. Mary, whose heart was fixated on Jesus, put everything on a standstill and became absorbed with Jesus. Take inventory of your walk with Christ and allow him to expose to you those disguised distractions (the things that have been separating and pulling you away from him).

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:41-42
