Picture a whiskey name bought for less than the price of a good bottle. No barrels, no recipes, no still, just a word made from two brothers’ first names, left behind in an abandoned Pennsylvania distillery. Welcome to the Whisky.dk ai Podcast, the show for everyone who loves whisky, craftsmanship and the people who make it.

Today we follow Michter’s from Swiss Mennonite rye farmers in 1753, through Prohibition, a jug-shaped water tower and a Valentine’s Day shutdown, to Kentucky, where a small team rebuilt the name barrel by barrel. We’ll talk air-dried oak, low entry proof, heated warehouses in the middle of winter, and a pair of old copper stills that sat in a Bardstown garage for twenty years before coming home.

Deep dives, honest tasting notes, distillery stories you won’t hear anywhere else. Pour yourself something good and join us.
