Welcome to a huge milestone—Episode 200 of 9WERKS Radio! To celebrate 200 episodes of Porsche passion, hosts Lee Sibley and Andy Brookes are joined by a very special guest: motoring journalist and 2026 9WERKS Awards winner for Best Porsche Content, Henry Catchpole.

In this extended bumper episode, we dive deep into one of the most intriguing, debated, and fast-growing movements in the automotive world: the Porsche restomod movement.

In this episode, we cover:

First-Hand Driving Impressions: We share what it’s actually like to drive some of the world’s ultimate air-cooled and water-cooled restomods.

What Defines a Restomod? Where is the line between a clean backdate, an OEM+ build, and a ground-up re-imagination?

Impact on the Automotive Industry: How boutique builders like Singer Vehicle Design, Tuthill Porsche, Theon Design, and Gunther Werks have redefined car culture, manufacturing, and OEM design choices.

The Future of the Restomod Movement: Where is the industry headed next as donor 911s become rarer, donor prices shift, and electric or synthetic fuel tech evolves?

Whether you're a fan of classic air-cooled Porsche 911s, modern performance engineering, or automotive journalism, this 200th-anniversary deep dive is packed with expert insight and unvarnished driving opinions.

Featured Guest:

Henry Catchpole – Automotive Journalist, Presenter (Hagerty, Carfection, EVO), and 2026 9WERKS Awards Winner.
