    2026/05/04

For the past two weeks, we've been talking about navigating the job application cycle. This week we continue our encouragement of employees by learning a key point: How can we become an indispensable employee? Hello everyone and welcome to episode 233 of the Resilient Journey Podcast, presented by Anesis Consulting Group! This week we're joined by long-time entrepreneur Barry Bradham. Barry tells us that in order to be a more resilient employee, we need to be curious, demonstrate value, and to think like a business owner. He adds that it's important that we understand what we're good at, and where we add the most value. But more importantly, the people around you must also understand that. He says, when they do - they will want you around them. The goal: To replace chaos with structure. Be sure to follow The Resilient Journey! We sure do appreciate it! • Episode 230 - Communications Silence During a Crisis - with Keith Erwood
    2026/04/13

We all understand how important communication is during a crisis. But this week's guest says that during high profile building evacuations, there is a time when communications silence is the proper protocol. But that doesn't mean we don't communicate. Hello everyone and welcome to episode 230 of the Resilient Journey Podcast, presented by Anesis Consulting Group! This week we are joined by former NY City EMS, turned resilience professional Keith Erwood. Keith and Mark take a couple of minutes to circle back to our recent conversation about blast radius. Keith explains that to him, the term literally refers to damage caused by an explosion. And that leads Keith to the topic of communications silence during an evacuation. He says that silence doesn't mean we don't communicate during the crisis, it means that our phones can't be used to detonate a device. Keith says while this is counter-intuitive and encounters pushback, radio silence is essential. Be sure to follow The Resilient Journey! We sure do appreciate it! Check out the Resilient Journey Hub!
