The Religious Liberty Commission Report is out—and what we found inside its 224 pages should concern every Christian who believes in freedom of conscience. We'll cut right to the chase as to what is really happening with this commission and its report. The religious liberty this commission is describing is the liberty to force or coerce others into believing what they believe. After seven hearings, more than 100 witnesses, and direct involvement from the Department of Justice, the Commission is now recommending a major reexamination of the Establishment Clause, the meaning of separation of church and state, and the proper relationship between religion and government in America.In this episode, Matthew Schanche and Andrew Bikichky go far beyond the headlines.Count the room first. Of 36 commissioners and advisors: 24 Liberty University affiliates. 23 Heritage Foundation. 13 tied to Project 2025. 4 Opus Dei. 4 Jesuits. 3 Knights of Columbus. 2 Knights of Malta. Roman nobility. Catholic prelates seated beside Protestant pastors on the same panel — the threefold union in one photograph.What they're asking for. A Commission whose stated cause is religious liberty, but whose recommendations are presidential proclamations of holy days, calls to prayer and fasting, and a permanent enforcement apparatus in every federal agency, all fifty states, and internationally. That is the power of the state carrying Christian observance — and the state has only one tool: compulsion.Their own definition convicts them. The report says the Constitution bars "actual legal coercion." Then read Project 2025 p.589 — a federal law paying premium wages for work on a day that "would default to Sunday." By their own test, that's an establishment.And the calendar. The Hanke-Henry Permanent Calendar, promoted by the Cato Institute, now makes Sunday the 7th day — breaking the unbroken Saturday-Sabbath based seven-day cycle that has run since creation. This, all at the behest of the Papacy, who "Think to change times and laws." — Daniel 7:25"Protestants little know what they are doing when they propose to accept the aid of Rome in the work of Sunday exaltation. While they are bent upon the accomplishment of their purpose, Rome is aiming to re-establish her power." — The Great Controversy, 573Jesus warned us that deception would be one of the defining characteristics of the last days.
