Meet Yvonne Michele:

Mum, businesswoman, singer, author, therapist, hairstylist…. SURVIVOR.

Yvonne’s world changed on Mother’s Day at just 11 years old, with her mother’s untimely passing. Whilst in the midst of her intense grief, three days later, Yvonne suffered more pain and trauma when she was abused.

What followed many years after was heartbreak, homelessness, no protection, guidance or accountability.

Caught You In A Lie is Yvonne’s one-woman national show based on her book Permission To Speak. Granted, which tells Yvonne’s story of her experiences and how she was expected to remain silent. Forever.

Yvonne is now working with authorities to make sure all victims are heard.

Caught You In A Lie is showing at The Shaw Theatre, Euston Road, London on 23 May 2026 with further shows to follow.

There are not many musicians who can boast 40 years in the business and still tour the world with their first single. And, there are not many artists who can cast a Motown legend as a friend. But, Dennis Seaton, along with his fellow Musical Youth bandmates were and are still, unique. Their success story from Birmingham, U.K to the global stage has been somewhat overshadowed by the not so happy times. And, there hasn’t been another successful mainstream like them since. So, let’s join Dennis on the Reggae Lounge to celebrate this milestone and tell his story.
