  • Episode #3- Coach and PT Collab
    2024/01/31

Today's episode is actually an interview that I did with Dr. Gina Fick of Fick PT & Performance. I’ve worked with Gina for a number of years when it comes to overseeing the recovery as well as the injury prevention and management of the teenage runners that I coach. Gina has been an absolutely incredible asset to what I do as a coach. She is not just a PT for these kids. Gina becomes a mentor, a safe place, and so much more for so many of these kids. Just an aside, I highly recommend Gina as a PT, whether you’re a middle high school athlete, or an adult that just needs a trust-worthy source for your own recovery needs. Gina and I cover a wide-range of topics in this interview from athlete recovery, athlete performance, culture building, healthy expectations, as well as thoughts around an individual’s identity and self-worth. You can find more info about Gina and her clinic, as well as her podcast, at www.fickptandperformnace.com. Thanks for tuning in today.
