Rome Didn't Fall in a Day

We have been through a lot of changes in technology. Sometimes tech helps, and sometimes it's bad for us. How do you feel about Flock cameras? Eric tried to have a conversation with someone about this, as they believed something different than he did. The guy did not want to be part of that conversation and walked away. There is a problem if we can not talk about our different beliefs. We should be able to respectfully debate differences, so we can learn and seek truth and a broader understanding. This is a symptom of the larger problem. Just like other civilizations fell in small steps until they reached total collapse, we are on the slippery slope to the same conclusion. Control by a government, such as what we saw with the Nazis in Germany or with the USSR don't start overnight. Rome didn't fall in a day. It starts with one small step and then another and another until we fall. At what point is it time to stand up and say no? At first we start with a losing a little bit of privacy to a camera, but where can that lead? It may have started with a permit for a large home repair, but now the law is written so poorly in some areas, it's hard to tell if you don't need a permit for anything or if you need one for absolutely everything, including changing a light bulb. When are you going to take a stand?
