A quiet 53-year-old bookkeeper walked out of his duplex at 6:17 AM with a key on the counter and $263,000 missing from his employer’s accounts-yet roughly half the money stayed in a savings account and his truck was left at a bus station 48 hours later. Did he vanish forever, or did he plan a return?
In this episode, we lay out the timeline from the early morning departure through the discovery of the abandoned truck and the clues Deputy U.S. Marshal Nicole Rogers used to build the case; what emerges is a portrait of careful planning that raises one central question about intent and timing.
