It’s that time of year again! 🎃 Joolz Bailey and I are back for our annual Halloween paranormal investigation, and this year we’re heading to St Benet’s Abbey, a ruin on the Norfolk Broads with over 1,000 years of history!

On a misty, moonlit Tuesday night, with no suitcase of gadgets, we rely on our senses and trust what we feel. Along the way: an EMF meter that won’t behave, two mediums picking up the same story separately, a sigh caught on the microphone that neither of us can explain, and a candle that goes out on request. 👻

This week I'm coming to you from the stunning Bay of Kotor in Montenegro, where Simon and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary. Between cruise ship crowds, rock-hard mattresses, and a hunt for the "perfect" photo, I found myself reflecting on something bigger: why we're all so busy chasing the shot that we forget to actually experience what's in front of us. I bring this straight back to mediumship — how sitters (and mediums) can get so fixated on a big, dramatic message that they miss the small, quiet detail that actually means everything. Plus a fish, a violin, and a reminder of Anne-Marie's incredible "orange hat" story.
