That's what The Presence Driven Life podcast is all about—learning to live from the beauty, peace, and joy of His presence. That preaches good, but how do we authentically live it out? Join host Cindy Powell and others as we have real conversations, about real issues affecting real people, who are pressing in for more of a very real God. We plan to post a new episode every Monday, often with special guests who add richness and depth to the conversation. We will explore a variety of topics—from the sweet and simple, to the deep and complex—all with the goal of removing obstacles that hinder us from living in the abiding reality of unbroken communion with Jesus. While we won't shy away from tough or even controversial topics, our goal will always be to keep His presence at the center.     Well, it's been a minute since we've posted a new episode. And the one we are finally posting today was a bit of a surprise. But, as always, we want to be led by His presence and sometimes that means posting content that wasn't previously planned.

    While this topic may not have been planned, with every episode it is our hope and prayer that you catch a greater glimpse of God’s heart. And today we are specifically hoping you catch a glimpse of God's heart for Israel. While there is never a shortage of changing opinions and controversies when it comes to the nation of Israel, God's heart for this land and people has never changed. In today’s episode, Cindy shares from a chapter in her book, The Key to His Heart, that addresses this topic specifically. Listen in for a perspective that approaches this lightning rod subject from the unchanging heart and character of God--rather than from the political narratives of the day. Whether or not your opinion changes, we pray your heart is touched!

    James said to "Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."

    Perfect? Complete? Lacking nothing? Are those things even possible? The Bible says they are but they are obtained through developing something we don't tend to like very much ... patience.

    What does it mean to let patience have its perfect work in you? Could it be that some of the things we consider delays, aren't just happening to us, but they are actually happening for us?
