Join Devin Henderson as he opens up about faith, family, and what it means to keep moving forward in every season of life.

After experiencing the unimaginable loss of his eight-week-old daughter Ivy, Devin stepped away from podcasting to grieve with his family. Now he’s back, going deeper into his personal faith, the hard questions, and the spiritual truths that have sustained him through life’s darkest moments.

How do you keep going when life falls apart? What do you do when you've achieved everything and still feel empty? How do you find meaning when there's no challenge left to chase?

Through solo reflections and conversations with guests who’ve faced extraordinary challenges of their own, Devin explores what it really takes to believe that something greater is always possible—no matter what.

This is a different side of Devin—one that goes beyond what audiences have seen from the stage. Expect vulnerability, honesty, hope, and real conversations about navigating life’s hardest questions while continuing to ask:

What else is possible?

New episodes every week beginning September 2026.

  • #35 What This Podcast Is Becoming
    2026/09/09

I want this podcast to feel like real life, not a perfectly packaged speaker talking, so we start where we actually are: coffee, tea, a half-built “cowboy-ish” setup, and a little bit of rambling while we settle in. Behind the jokes is a serious intention, though. I’m building the Possibility Mindset Podcast as a warm, honest space that grows organically over time, where we can start small, start ugly, and still end up somewhere beautiful.

You’ll hear a few life updates that matter more than they seem at first. We celebrate my daughter Claire landing her EMT job, and I share why that moment hit me so hard as a dad. I also recap a wedding reception in Kansas City at Swope Park and the reminder it brings: community and gratitude can carry you when life feels heavy. Along the way, I mention my book What Else Is Possible and why storytelling has become a surprising form of healing for me and connection for others.

Then we get to the core of what this show is going to be about. I say it clearly: I’m a Christian, and this podcast is going to be rooted in Jesus. That faith shows up as I talk about grief, including a recent funeral for a 20-year-old in our extended church community and how losing my daughter Ivy continues to shape me almost two years later. I also share a practice that’s changing my mornings, Scripture, journaling, and prayer, plus a small moment with a spider web that turned into a bigger reflection on creation and attention. Next time, we begin Ivy’s story from the beginning, starting with her birth.

If you want a Christian podcast about resilience, grief, leadership, and hope that doesn’t fake perfection, you’re in the right place. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs it, and leave a review with the biggest takeaway you want to carry into your week.

  • #34 Two Years Later: What Else Is Possible?
    2026/09/02

    Two years can change everything.

After a break, I’m bringing back the Possibility Mindset Podcast with real life, real grief, and a deeper kind of hope than I knew how to talk about before.

In this episode, I share the update I never got to give: the birth of our daughter Ivy on August 8, 2024, and losing her to SIDS just eight weeks later. I talk about what it looks like to keep moving when your world gets rocked, how our Christian faith carried us through unimaginable loss, and why I still believe something greater is always possible.

I’ll also catch you up on some incredible changes in our family and my work—from welcoming our ninth baby (was it another girl? Find out!) to a new book, a new chapter in my speaking career, and even performing at the World Cup in Kansas City.

And underneath all of it is one question that continues to take on deeper and deeper meaning for me:

    What else is possible?

If you’re walking through loss, pursuing something bigger, or simply need some hope for whatever comes next, this episode is for you.

Hear about the strategic growth of Shawnee, the revitalization of downtown, and how community engagement is driving the city's potential.
