  • Death & Humility
    2026/02/25

Death is one of the most crucial parts of life and while it is painful, it is necessary for growth and newness. Jesus demonstrated death and Humilty in His posture of servanthood. This led to God exalting Him and giving Him a name above all other name. That at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

While death is not desirable, if we allow ourselves to die to the carnal ways of the world, we will have position ourselves in a posture where God can promote and exalt us.

This death is not the physically wasting away of someone, but the ability to relinquish control over the affairs of your life to fully submit to the will and ways of Jesus Christ.

Pride hates death and Humilty because pride always wants to be the one glorified but the scripture in Matt 16:24 says:

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”

Serving Christ will cost us something and that's why Jesus admonishes us to carefully count the cost of being a disciple, because while it is the most important decision we will ever make, it also comes with the requirement to die to our fleshly desires and be resurrected to new life in Christ; one that is fully surrendered to Him

  • The Isolation Pt3
    2026/02/18

In this week's episode we looked at the lives of Saul and David and how important preparation was in their process of becoming King.

Israel out of impatience, consistently asked God for a king, ignoring the fact that God was their ultimate King, so the Lord made Saul king of Israel. It is believed that the Lord did this to teach Israel a very important lesson.

God made an example out of Saul. In Saul becoming King; he failed miserably, walked in disobedience and lost many battles. Israel soon realized that God was their ultimate king of Kings.

In the words of Benjamin Franklin, "If you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail." Saul was not prepared to be king but David was. As a matter of fact, David was being trained and prepared to be king all his life without him realizing it.

Compared to Saul, David walked in humility, honored the Lord and led Israel into many victories. This shows the power of preparation. While preparation does not always feel good, it is absolutely necessary for who the Lord has called you to be.

As you listen in this week, I hope you were able to clean a thing or two and I pray it was a blessing and a reminder for you too. If it has been, feel free to follow the podcast and share it with families and friends. Until next time, this is the Polymath Podcast with Ms Neisha. I'll see you on the other side.

  • The Isolation Pt2
    2026/02/11

In this week's episode we continue to look at isolation with more emphasis on it being a period where we get to wait well.

Many times we are so eager to 'go' and 'do' when God wants us to wait. Waiting is not desirable but it is very necessary. Waiting not only prepare us but it also protects us.

During waiting, God speaks to us and instructs us on what to do and how to do it. If we are always busy we may miss His voice.

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) reminds us: "but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount on wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

There are so many benefits that come with waiting and the Lord is expecting us to be obedient in our season of isolation and wait on His instructions.

As you listen in I pray this episode is a blessing to you. And If it is, feel free to follow and share the podcast with a family or friend. Until next time, this is the Polymath Podcast with Ms Neisha, I'll see you on the other side.
