    Today, Lisa is discussing a sensitive topic: cancer. A cancer diagnosis is one of the scariest things anyone has to deal with, whether personally or while supporting a loved one who is ill.

    For too long, we have treated cancer like an end-of-the-world disease. But you don’t have to give up all of your power. There are lifestyle adjustments you can make so that your disease doesn’t become your identity and to give yourself a fighting chance to put cancer into remission.

    Lisa invites her friend John Lewis to join the discussion. He shares his story and why he is passionate about living a plant-based lifestyle. John talks about his mother’s diagnosis of colon cancer and why that jump-started his commitment to veganism and staying active. He offers advice to those battling cancer, including mindset and lifestyle shifts that helped him and his mom through their journey with cancer.

    Lisa and John also discuss cancer prevention and the importance of staying in tune with your health. They debunk common misconceptions about plant-based diets, and Lisa outlines the protocol for her 30-Day Plant-Based Vegan SOS Challenge.
