  • Are You Missing the Healing That Is Actually Happening?
    2026/08/29
What if the problem isn’t that healing isn’t happening—but that you’re still looking for healing through the old paradigm? Are You Missing the Healing That Is Actually Happening? You may be doing the work. You may be seeing a practitioner, using healing techniques, clearing patterns, changing your thoughts, or experiencing genuine shifts—and still find yourself thinking: Why isn’t this working? But what if you’re asking the wrong question? What if healing is actually happening, but you can’t recognize it because you’re still expecting healing to look like someone finding what’s wrong with you and fixing it? This is one of the biggest shifts I see people struggle to make in their healing. At a certain point, healing requires more than another technique, another practitioner, or another person telling you what they see. It requires you to step into a new paradigm of healing. And if you don’t make that shift, you can continue investing in healing while remaining in the position of the person waiting to be healed. When most people think about healing, they have a very specific picture of what it should look like. Something hurts. https://youtu.be/5NTTI0q16bQ?si=IiFhbn2mGEILEYI8 What Does It Mean to Miss Your Own Healing? Something is wrong. Someone identifies the problem. Someone removes the problem. The symptom goes away. Then you’re healed. That model puts the practitioner in the position of the person who creates the result—and you in the position of the person receiving the result. There is nothing wrong with receiving support. I work with people every day who need guidance, tools, healing sessions, and a different perspective. But there comes a point when the relationship you have with your own healing has to change. You have to begin seeing yourself as an active participant in your healing rather than someone waiting for another person to fix you. That is the paradigm shift. The Healing May Have Worked—But You May Still Have More to See I recently worked with a client who illustrates this beautifully. She has received guidance. She has tools. She has experienced shifts. She has worked with different healing approaches. And yet there is still a part of her that is looking for someone else to tell her what is wrong and remove it for her. She wants to understand everything through her mind. She wants someone to look in and tell her what is happening. She wants the answer. But when I point her back toward her own body and her own experience, she has difficulty staying there. That’s important. Because if you are constantly trying to use your mind to figure out how to get into your body, you’re still looking for the answer outside yourself. You’re still trying to be fixed. And that can make it very difficult to recognize the healing that is already taking place. The Old Paradigm of Healing Keeps You Looking Outside Yourself The old paradigm says: Something is wrong with me. Someone else knows what is wrong. Someone else has the tool to fix it. I need them to create the result. So you keep searching. Another practitioner. Another modality. Another technique. Another clearing. Another person who can tell you what’s happening. You may even become highly knowledgeable about healing and still remain in this paradigm. You can know all the right words and understand all the right concepts and still unconsciously be waiting for someone else to make you well. That is the part that can be difficult to see. Because from the outside, it looks like you’re doing everything. But internally, your position may still be: “Someone needs to fix this for me.” Healing Requires The New Paradigm The new paradigm asks you to engage with yourself differently. Instead of: “Can someone find this and clear it for me?” the question becomes: “What is this showing me?” Instead of: “What is wrong with me?” you begin asking: “What am I ready to see, release, and embody now?” Instead of: “Why isn’t this practitioner creating the result?” you begin asking: “What is my part in this transformation?” This doesn’t mean you don’t need support. It doesn’t mean you stop working with practitioners. And it certainly doesn’t mean you should ignore symptoms or physical concerns. It means you stop giving away your power. The practitioner can guide you. The practitioner can help you see what you may not be able to see on your own. The practitioner can give you tools. But you have to take the steps. That is how you become empowered in your own healing. Why Healing Techniques Can Take You Only So Far I’ve experienced this myself in my work. Earlier in my practice, when I had a brick-and-mortar healing practice, people would come in, receive hands-on healing, feel wonderful, and experience significant movement. They would leave feeling different. And then, sometimes, a few days later or weeks later, the old pattern would return. The healing had created movement. But something ...

  • Stop Waiting to Heal: The Shift That Changes Everything
    2026/08/20
What if the thing keeping you stuck isn’t the symptom—but the fact that you’re waiting for it to go away? If you’re waiting for your pain, symptoms, circumstances, or life situation to change before you can finally feel different, you’re living from the frequency of waiting. And that matters. In this episode of The Place to Be Free Podcast, Martha Blessing explores what happens when you stop waiting for healing and begin consciously becoming the person you’re moving toward. This doesn’t mean denying pain or pretending you’re already healed. It means recognizing where you’re putting your attention, what you’re saying to yourself, what you’re believing, and how those patterns influence the person you are being right now. Healing requires participation. Watch Episode 75 Stop Waiting for Healing: The Shift That Changes Everything https://youtu.be/MwdMBbngvIU The question is: Are you participating in your healing—or are you waiting for healing to happen to you? “You have to be where you’re going, not where you’ve been. Where you’re going, not where you are.” What Does It Mean to Stop Waiting for Healing? Stopping the wait for healing means shifting your attention away from constantly monitoring whether the pain or symptom is gone and toward the person you are becoming. You can acknowledge what you’re experiencing without making your current experience the definition of where you’re going. In Martha’s approach, this is about using your thoughts, words, beliefs, feelings, and actions consciously rather than continually reinforcing the message: “It’s not here yet.” When you’re constantly waiting for healing, you’re practicing being the person who is waiting. The shift is to begin practicing being the person who is moving toward the life, health, and experience you desire. Can Focusing on Your Symptoms Keep You Stuck? Your symptoms are real and should not be ignored. But there is a difference between being aware of a symptom and making the symptom the center of your attention, identity, and expectation. When every thought becomes: “When will this pain go away?”“Why am I still having this symptom?”“What can I do to make this stop?”“I’ll be able to live normally when this is gone.” —you can unknowingly keep reinforcing the experience of waiting. Martha explains why shifting your attention toward where you’re going, rather than continually measuring where you are, can create a very different relationship with the healing process. “You don’t want to focus on where you are. You want to put your attention on where you’re going.” Stop Waiting for Healing One of the most powerful concepts Martha teaches in this episode is the idea that your word is your wand. What are you continually saying? What are you continually thinking? What are you telling yourself about your body, your health, your money, your relationships, your business, or your future? Listen for the phrases that begin with: “When…” “When I feel better…” “When my pain is gone…” “When I have more money…” “When I have more time…” “When this situation changes…” “When I finally get there…” The problem isn’t necessarily having a goal or desire. The problem is postponing your identity, your action, and your life until some future condition arrives. The Gap Between Where You Are and Where You’re Going Martha describes the space between where you’ve been and who you’re becoming as a discrepancy between two different frequencies. You may still be experiencing the physical, emotional, or circumstantial evidence of an old pattern while learning to embody something new. That transition takes participation. It takes awareness. It takes practice. And it requires giving yourself grace while your new way of being becomes more established. “There is a place between where she’s been and who she’s becoming, where she’s moving towards. They are two completely different frequencies.” This is why Martha emphasizes that healing isn’t about finding a healer with a magic wand who simply makes everything disappear. The deeper transformation happens when you participate in the process. You Don’t Have to Wait Until You Get There Martha shares a personal example from her own life around fitness, time, and prosperity. She realized she had been thinking: “I’ll do that when I get there.” Once she understood the principle, she stopped waiting. Instead of waiting until she had more time to become the person she wanted to be, she began making that person a priority now. She scheduled the workouts. She created the time. She changed the pattern. The same principle can be applied to healing. You don’t have to wait until everything is perfect to begin living differently. Your Attention Matters If you’re constantly looking at what is wrong, what hasn’t changed, and what isn’t here yet, you’re continually measuring your life against ...

  • Emotional Causes of Asthma: The Spiritual Root Most People Never Address
    2026/08/20
Can Asthma Have Emotional Causes? Many people experience chronic asthma or recurring breathing problems even after years of medication and symptom management. While medical treatment can be essential, emotional trauma, chronic stress, fear, unresolved childhood experiences, and survival patterns may also contribute to asthma by keeping the nervous system and body in a state of constriction. Healing often begins when these deeper emotional and energetic patterns are addressed alongside the physical symptoms. In this episode, Martha Blessing explores the emotional and spiritual causes of asthma through a client case study, revealing how childhood trauma, fear, and the inability to fully receive life can become stored in the body—and how releasing those patterns may support lasting healing. Emotional Causes of Asthma: The Spiritual Root Most People Never Address Why chronic asthma, chest tightness, and breathing problems may be about far more than the lungs Asthma is often treated as a problem of the airways. But what if the lungs are expressing something much deeper? What if chronic breathing difficulties are connected to unresolved fear, childhood trauma, survival patterns, and emotional constriction that have been stored in the body for years? This episode explores a spiritual and metaphysical perspective on asthma and respiratory issues, using a real client case study to illustrate how healing can begin when the root cause—not just the symptoms—is addressed. https://youtu.be/8xiO9AKTBhg What This Episode Explores emotional causes of asthmaspiritual meaning of asthmatrauma and breathing problemschildhood trauma and chronic illnesswhy asthma keeps coming backthe connection between the heart, lungs, and joysurvival patterns stored in the bodyfascia, coherence, and nervous system healingthe Law of Polarity and healingSoul Light Holographic Healing and Light Language The Lungs Represent More Than Breathing From a spiritual perspective, the lungs symbolize our willingness to receive life. Every breath is an act of expansion. Every inhale is an acceptance of life itself. When someone experiences chronic fear, instability, or trauma—especially in childhood—that natural expansion can become restricted. Instead of breathing freely, the body learns to brace. To constrict. To protect. The symptom becomes an expression of an unconscious survival pattern. “Our life begins with the first breath and ends with the last. The lungs symbolize taking in life.” When Survival Becomes Your Normal One of the most important themes in this episode is the survival imprint. The client Martha shares had grown up in a chaotic and abusive environment where safety never felt guaranteed. Her nervous system adapted by remaining constantly alert. Holding her breath. Preparing for the next crisis. Although her adult life was stable and loving, her body had never received the message that it was finally safe. The old programming continued to drive the symptom. Why Joy Can Feel Unsafe Many people assume that if life improves, their body will naturally relax. But unresolved trauma doesn’t work that way. If the body has learned that happiness is followed by punishment… Or safety is temporary… Or expressing yourself creates danger… Then joy itself can begin to feel threatening. The body unconsciously resists expansion because contraction once meant survival. Healing means teaching the body a new truth. Asthma Is Not Just About the Lungs This episode explores how breathing problems may reflect much deeper patterns, including: fearhypervigilancechildhood traumaemotional suppressionabandonmentself-sacrificeinability to receivechronic nervous system activation Rather than asking, “How do I stop the symptom?” The more powerful question becomes: “What is my body protecting me from?” Healing Through Expansion Instead of Fixing One of the biggest shifts Martha teaches is moving away from constantly trying to fix the problem. Instead of focusing on the constriction… Focus on expansion. Instead of fighting the darkness… Bring in more light. This reflects the Law of Polarity: healing happens by strengthening what you want to experience rather than feeding attention to what you wish to eliminate. “We don’t focus on clearing the darkness. We focus on bringing in the light.” Key Takeaways From This Episode asthma may have emotional and spiritual rootschildhood trauma can create lifelong survival patternsbreathing symbolizes receiving lifeunresolved fear often lives in the bodyhealing requires expansion rather than contractionjoy can feel unsafe when trauma is unresolvedthe nervous system remembers what the mind forgetslasting healing addresses both symptoms and root causesyour body is designed for health and coherencefocusing on the light creates transformation “When we leave the body because of fear, we also leave joy.” Can emotional trauma cause asthma? • Healing Cancer Spiritually: The Root Cause Most People Never Address – Ep. 73
    2026/06/18
Can Cancer Be Healed Spiritually? Healing cancer spiritually does not mean denying medicine or ignoring a diagnosis. It means addressing the deeper emotional, energetic, ancestral, and consciousness patterns that may contribute to illness while reconnecting with the body’s innate capacity for healing and wholeness. Many people focus entirely on the diagnosis, the prognosis, and the fear surrounding cancer. But spiritual healing asks a different question: What is the deeper root cause that created the conditions for illness in the first place? In this episode, Martha Blessing explores a spiritual approach to healing cancer, including survival patterns, fear, ancestral imprints, emotional wounds, and the hidden beliefs that may keep people trapped in illness rather than moving toward healing. Healing Cancer Spiritually: The Root Cause Most People Never Address A spiritual approach to healing cancer beyond fear, diagnosis, and survival Cancer is one of the most feared diagnoses in our culture. Immediately, people are taught to think in terms of stages, odds, statistics, and survival. But what if healing requires us to look deeper? What if the diagnosis is not the whole story? This episode explores a broader understanding of healing—one that includes the soul, consciousness, emotional imprints, ancestral patterns, and the body’s innate intelligence. https://youtu.be/C7pHKOmc31A What This Episode Explores healing cancer spirituallythe spiritual root cause of cancerfear and survival patternsemotional and energetic causes of illnessancestral and karmic imprintswhy focusing on the diagnosis may keep people stuckconsciousness and healinghealing beyond fearLight Language and Soul Light Holographic Healingrestoring the body’s original blueprint The Survival Pattern Beneath Illness One of the biggest themes in this episode is survival. Many people facing illness unknowingly operate from: fearhypervigilancesacrificestrugglehopelessnessthe belief that the body has turned against them But survival itself is a frequency. And when we continually reinforce that frequency, healing becomes more difficult. The question becomes: What am I still holding onto? Am I still carrying fear? What beliefs am I accepting as truth? The Root Cause Most People Never Address Healing is not only physical. The body carries: ancestral imprintsemotional traumafear programmingkarmic patternscultural conditioningsurvival beliefs These patterns can remain active long after we forget where they came from. Many people focus entirely on the physical manifestation. But the deeper healing asks: Why did this pattern develop? What was I believing? Where did I disconnect from my own life force? “If we’re powerful enough to create illness, we are also powerful enough to uncreate it.” martha Blessing Why Focusing on the Diagnosis Can Keep You Stuck This episode shares a case study of a woman with metastatic cancer whose doctors were surprised by how quickly she began improving. But the healing process did not revolve around obsessing over numbers. Instead, the focus shifted to: clearing fearreleasing survival patternshealing emotional woundsrestoring self-trustreconnecting to wholenessembodying health rather than fearing illness The solution was not found by becoming more attached to the problem. The solution came through embodying a new consciousness. The Body Was Designed for Healing According to Martha, the body’s natural state is health. Your body is intelligent. The body is adaptive. It is constantly seeking restoration. The challenge is often not the body’s ability to heal. The challenge is the emotional and energetic interference that blocks our ability to receive healing. Fear. Shame. Struggle. Sacrifice. Survival. These patterns become the lens through which we experience reality. Healing requires a new lens. The Spiritual Path of Healing Spiritual healing is not passive. It is active participation. It is: becoming aware of unconscious beliefsreleasing fearchoosing trustreconnecting with Sourcerestoring coherenceallowing love, joy, and wholeness into the body Healing becomes less about fighting illness and more about remembering who you truly are. “Our natural state is health and wholeness.” Key Takeaways From This Episode healing cancer spiritually addresses more than the physical bodyfear and survival patterns can affect healingancestral and emotional imprints matterfocusing only on the diagnosis reinforces fearthe body has innate intelligence and healing capacityconsciousness plays a role in healinghealth and wholeness are the body’s natural statehealing requires participation, awareness, and self-trustemotional healing and physical healing are interconnectedthe solution is not found inside the problem Frequently Asked Questions Can cancer be healed spiritually? • Why You’re Not Receiving Healing (And Don’t Realize It) Ep. 72
    2026/06/11
Why You’re Not Receiving Healing (And Don’t Realize It) Why am I not receiving healing? Many people genuinely want healing but unknowingly resist receiving it. Deep patterns of fear, struggle, sacrifice, unworthiness, religious conditioning, self-protection, and mistrust can make healing feel unsafe. When healing challenges those unconscious patterns, people often push away the very support, guidance, or transformation they are seeking. In this episode, Martha Blessing explores why healing is often blocked not by a lack of effort, but by hidden beliefs that make receiving feel uncomfortable, unfamiliar, or even threatening. A conversation about resistance, faith, self-protection, and the hidden patterns that keep people stuck Many people believe healing isn’t happening because they haven’t found the right practitioner, modality, technique, prayer, supplement, or program. But what if the issue isn’t a lack of healing? What if the issue is an inability to receive it? This episode explores one of the most overlooked aspects of healing: unconscious resistance. https://youtu.be/lcw-Qfqh2qU What This Episode Explores why some people struggle to receive healingresistance to healing and self-protection patternsfear, trust, and receiving supportreligious conditioning and spiritual woundsstruggle and sacrifice imprintswhy healing can feel unsafethe difference between faith and needing proofunconscious blocks to healingreceiving versus performinghow hidden beliefs shape healing outcomes “This is too easy. This is too gentle. This is too loving.” The Struggle and Sacrifice Imprint One of the most common patterns Martha sees is the belief that healing must be difficult. Many people carry unconscious beliefs such as: life is hardhealing is hardI have to earn itI have to prove myselfI have to struggleI have to sacrifice When these beliefs become deeply embedded, receiving something gentle, loving, or effortless can feel uncomfortable. Our mind immediately questions it. The nervous system rejects it. Then unconsciously looks for reasons why it cannot be real. Why Some People Push Healing Away A major theme in this episode is that healing often challenges identity. If someone has spent years operating from fear, self-protection, hypervigilance, or mistrust, receiving healing may feel threatening rather than comforting. Not because healing is dangerous. But because healing conflicts with what the person has accepted as true. The body often resists what it does not recognize. Even when that thing is good. Religious Conditioning and Healing This episode also explores how religious beliefs, spiritual wounds, and fear-based conditioning can affect a person’s ability to receive healing. Many people carry unconscious beliefs such as: healing should happen a certain wayspiritual gifts are dangerousGod is judging meI have to earn God’s approvalI am unworthy of receiving These beliefs can create internal conflict whenever healing, transformation, or spiritual growth begins to challenge old identities. The result is often resistance rather than openness. Faith Is Not Proof One of the most important distinctions in this episode is the difference between faith and proof. Many people want evidence first. They want certainty first. They want results first. But faith works differently. Faith is the willingness to receive before the mind has gathered enough proof to feel safe. It is trust. And, it is openness. Faith is allowing. When someone demands proof before they are willing to receive, they often remain trapped in skepticism, fear, and self-protection. “She’s looking for the proof before it happens. That’s not faith.” Are You Resisting Your Own Good? One of the most powerful questions from this episode is: Where am I resisting my own good? Many people genuinely desire: healingloveabundancepeacesupportconnection Yet unconsciously reject them when they arrive. Why? Because those experiences challenge long-held beliefs about worthiness, struggle, trust, and safety. Healing begins when we become willing to question those beliefs. Key Takeaways From This Episode healing resistance is often unconsciousstruggle and sacrifice patterns can block receivingfaith requires trust before proof appearsfear and self-protection interfere with healingmany people resist healing because it feels unfamiliarreligious conditioning can affect receivinghealing is not something you must earnworthiness and trust are deeply connected to healingreceiving is different from performingtransformation requires openness Resources & Links ✨ FREE MASTERCLASSWhy Your Symptoms Haven’t Healed Yethttps://marthablessing.com/freestuff/ ✨ WORK WITH MEhttps://marthablessing.com/1-on-1/ ✨ SOUL LIGHT ENERGY HEALING IMMERSIONhttps://marthablessing.com/soul-light-energy-healing/ ✨ LIGHT LIBRARYhttps://marthablessing.com/the-living-light-library/ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Can someone unconsciously resist healing? • Energy Updates and Spiritual Sovereignty: Are You Giving Your Power Away? Ep. 71
    2026/06/04
Are Energy Updates Affecting Your Spiritual Growth? Energy updates can become disempowering when they teach people to look outside themselves for answers, permission, validation, or predictions about how they should feel. While collective energies, solar activity, and environmental influences may exist, spiritual sovereignty means recognizing that you still choose your response, your focus, your state of being, and what meaning you assign to any experience. In this episode, Martha Blessing explores spiritual sovereignty, personal agency, energy updates, collective consciousness, and why many people unknowingly give their power away by allowing others to define their energetic experience. Energy Updates and Spiritual Sovereignty: Are You Giving Your Power Away? Why This Conversation Matters If you spend any time in spiritual, awakening, or consciousness circles, you’ve probably seen them. Daily energy updates. Schumann Resonance reports. Solar flare warnings. Predictions about how everyone is supposed to feel this week. While many of these messages are well-intentioned, there is a deeper question that deserves attention: Who decides how you feel? This episode explores how repeatedly looking outside ourselves for energetic explanations can slowly erode self-trust, agency, and spiritual sovereignty. https://youtu.be/NbjSolBIsJ4 What This Episode Explores spiritual sovereignty and personal agencyenergy updates and collective consciousnessthe Schumann Resonance and energetic forecastingwhy fear-based spiritual messaging can be disempoweringconsciousness, creation, and self-trusthealing the habit of external validationsolar codes, frequency, and higher consciousnesswhy creation is not working against youthe difference between awareness and dependencychoosing your own energetic experience “I choose what I’m going to resonate with.” MARTHA BLESSING The Hidden Cost of Constant Energy Updates Many people follow energy updates because they want understanding. They want reassurance. They want confirmation that they aren’t imagining what they are feeling. But there is a subtle shift that can happen. Instead of using outside information as a reference point, people begin using it as an authority. They start asking: What should I expect this week?Is this a good time to make a decision?Am I feeling this because of the Schumann Resonance? Are solar flares causing my symptoms? Over time, personal discernment can be replaced by dependency on external interpretation. That is where sovereignty begins to weaken. “Who cares? I choose the energy. I choose what I’m going to resonate with.” Spiritual Sovereignty Means Reclaiming Your Agency A central theme of this episode is that sovereignty is not about denying that energies exist. It’s about refusing to give those energies authority over your experience. You can acknowledge: collective shiftssolar activityplanetary cyclesenergetic changes without surrendering your ability to choose your response. Spiritual sovereignty asks a different question: What do I choose to align with? Instead of waiting for someone else to tell you how the week is going to unfold, you begin consciously participating in your own experience. “There is nothing that anyone says or does that pulls you out of the truth and the knowing of who you are.” MARTHA BLESSING Is Creation Working Against You? One of the strongest themes in this conversation is the idea that many spiritual teachings unintentionally reinforce fear. The message becomes: watch outbe carefulprepare for difficultyexpect challengesthe energies are intense But if creation is fundamentally intelligent and supportive of evolution, then why would we constantly expect attack, disruption, or harm? This episode challenges the assumption that Source, Earth, solar frequencies, and consciousness evolution are somehow trying to overwhelm us. Instead, it invites a different perspective: What if creation is supporting your evolution rather than working against it? Why Self-Trust Is Essential for 5D Consciousness According to Martha, higher consciousness is not about escaping the body. It is not about leaving Earth. It is not about constantly seeking information somewhere outside yourself. It is about becoming more deeply present. More embodied. More connected. More coherent. The more aligned you become with your own inner knowing, the less dependent you become on predictions, forecasts, and external authorities. What is spiritual sovereignty? Spiritual sovereignty is the ability to trust your own inner guidance, discernment, and connection to Source rather than depending on outside authorities to define your experience, beliefs, or reality. Are energy updates accurate? Energy updates may reflect one person’s interpretation of collective or energetic conditions. The important question is whether they support greater self-awareness and empowerment or create fear, dependency, and loss of personal agency. What is the problem ...

  • Ep. 70 - Faith, Healing & the Power You Were Taught to Give Away
    2026/05/28
What Is the Real Role of Faith in Healing? Faith healing is not about begging something outside yourself to save you, heal you, or choose you. Real faith is the internal acceptance that your body already carries intelligence for healing, restoration, and wholeness. Many people unknowingly place their power outside themselves during healing. They look externally for permission, rescue, worthiness, signs, or validation while continuing to identify with fear, illness, shame, separation, or unworthiness internally. In this episode, Martha Blessing explores how faith has become distorted through conditioning, performance, religious wounding, and separation consciousness — and how true healing begins when we stop searching outside ourselves for the power already within. Faith, Healing & the Power You Were Taught to Give Away Why So Many People Feel Desperate in Healing One of the biggest misunderstandings in healing is the belief that healing comes from outside of us. Many people unconsciously approach healing from: feardesperationperformanceshameunworthinessabandonmentthe belief that they must “earn” healing This creates an internal split where the body is no longer experienced as intelligent, safe, connected, or capable of restoration. Instead of trusting the body, people become hyper-focused on symptoms, fear, external answers, and whether they are “doing healing correctly.” That separation becomes part of the suffering itself https://youtu.be/BSsSRCuyIO0 What This Episode Explores the real meaning of faith in healingwhy many healing journeys become rooted in desperationhow religious conditioning creates shame and separationthe difference between embodiment and externalized powerthe body’s innate intelligence for healinghow accepted identity shapes physical experiencemanifestation, consciousness, and healingwhy many people feel abandoned during illness or awakeningseparation consciousness and healing patternsredefining faith beyond performance or punishment “You cannot ask for healing while remaining loyal to illness.” MARTHA BLESSING Healing Was Never Meant to Be Begging A major theme in this conversation is the difference between true faith and emotional desperation. Many people unknowingly spend years asking: “Why won’t I heal?”“What am I doing wrong?”“Why did God abandon me?”“What else do I need to fix?” But underneath those questions is often a deeper belief:“I am separate from the thing I need.” This episode challenges the idea that healing is about convincing an outside force to finally choose you. Instead, healing becomes a return to coherence with what already exists within the body and consciousness. “Faith is loyalty to what you have accepted within.” MARTHA BLESSING The Body Already Knows How to Heal This episode also explores the idea that the body itself carries divine intelligence. Your heart beats without conscious effort.Your breath moves automatically.Cells regenerate constantly. The body is always attempting restoration. The problem is not that the body has forgotten how to heal. The problem is often: chronic fearshameemotional survival patternsseparationnervous system overloaddeeply accepted beliefs about unworthiness When those patterns dominate consciousness, people struggle to hold healing, safety, love, peace, or wholeness in the body. Faith, Identity & Accepted Reality One of the deeper conversations in this episode is how faith shapes identity. Faith is not simply belief in something external. Faith becomes: what you repeatedly identify withwhat you emotionally accept as truewhat you continuously energizewhat you hold loyalty toward internally If someone continually identifies with: illnessfearshamerejectionabandonmentpowerlessness …those patterns begin organizing their emotional and physical reality. Healing requires a shift in what is accepted internally. Key Takeaways From This Episode healing is not meant to feel like desperationthe body already carries intelligence for healingmany people unknowingly give their power away during healingshame and separation deeply affect physical healingfaith is connected to accepted identity and internal focusexternalizing power reinforces disconnection from the bodyhealing is not about earning worthinessconsciousness, focus, and emotional identity affect physical experience What does faith actually mean in healing? Faith in healing is not blind belief or begging for rescue. It is the internal acceptance of health, wholeness, possibility, and connection instead of continually reinforcing fear, illness, separation, or unworthiness. Can emotional and spiritual beliefs affect physical healing? Yes. Emotional identity, stress patterns, fear, shame, survival states, and deeply accepted beliefs can affect nervous system function, stress chemistry, emotional regulation, and the body’s overall healing environment. Why do people feel desperate during healing journeys? Many people have been ...

  • Ep 69 Spiritual Embodiment vs. Spiritual Entertainment: Why You Aren’t Healing
    2026/05/14
Are You Healing or Just Being Entertained? In my 30 years of working with clients, I’ve seen a consistent, heart-breaking pattern. So many people are “seekers”—they have the crystals, they follow the energy updates, and they’ve had every type of session imaginable. Yet, their physical symptoms remain. The truth is, there is a massive difference between true spiritual embodiment—a shift in consciousness that creates a physical change—and spiritual entertainment. Spiritual entertainment is “dabbling.” It’s looking for the “fix-me” session or the external prediction. While these things can feel good in the moment, they often keep you “drifting” outside of yourself. True healing requires you to stop searching and start receiving the truth into your physical container. I’m diving deep into the difference in this episode #69 of the Place To Be Free Podcast. https://youtu.be/-ljZ0NU_uyE The “Iceberg” of Root Cause Healing Think of your health like an iceberg. Most therapies—diet, nutrition, and even some energy work—deal with the 10% above the water. But beneath the surface lies the other 90%: the karmic imprints and distortions at the soul level. These are the indoctrinated beliefs of sacrifice and separation that tell you that you aren’t worthy of health or that God created your illness. Here is the reality: God does not know illness. Your body is a masterpiece of divine intelligence. Healing happens when you clear the distortions that are keeping you separate from that truth. Why “Drifting Out” Stops the Healing A common pattern I see is people drifting “up and out” into their heads or galactic realms. While exploring the dimensions is a gift, it can become a form of spiritual bypassing if you aren’t bringing that light back into your body. Tarot and Astrology: These can be fun, but they don’t shift your consciousness; they keep you focused on external timing and external answers. The “Energy Update” Trap: You are the energy update. When you wait for someone else to tell you what the planets are doing, you give your power away. The Fixing Loop: If you go to a practitioner expecting them to “fix” you without you showing up for the integration, the healing won’t stick. Common Questions About Spiritual Embodiment vs. Entertainment What is the difference between spiritual healing and spiritual entertainment? Spiritual healing (embodiment) is a catalyst for releasing physical symptoms by shifting consciousness and frequency within the physical body. Spiritual entertainment refers to practices that keep a person in a “fix-me” loop or focused on external tools like tarot cards, which do not address the core soul-level distortions. Why do I feel like I’m stuck in my healing journey? You may be stuck because you are holding onto a “sick identity” or soul-level imprints of sacrifice. Healing isn’t an event that happens to you; it is a shift you must receive and own within your physical being. How does Christ Consciousness relate to physical health? Christ Consciousness is the frequency of light, love, and purity. Illness is a manifestation of separation from this truth. By practicing true embodiment, you dissolve the imprints of separation and allow divine order to return to your body. Take the Next Step I’ve lived through 10 years of chronic pain and a cancer diagnosis. I know what it feels like to be desperate for a fix. But I also know the power of coming back into union with God within your own body. If you are ready to stop drifting and start the real work of embodiment, I am here to help you navigate that gap.
