How much of what you’re carrying did God actually assign to you? In “That’s Not Yours to Carry,” Pastor CJ examines 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, Proverbs 3:5-6, 1 Peter 5:7, and Romans 12:18 to show the difference between faithful responsibility and trying to control outcomes that belong to God or to another person. This message deals with anxiety, adult children, biblical boundaries, surrender, and the courage it takes to do your part and trust God with His. You were never called to be the Holy Spirit in someone else’s life. Plant. Water. Speak truth. Love faithfully. Set righteous boundaries when they’re needed. Then release the outcome and let God be God. Obey God. Release the outcome.

What does it really mean toendure in faith without falling into either easy grace orlegalism?
One extreme treats salvation like a pastdecision that makes present obedience irrelevant. The other turns theChristian life into constant fear, as though salvation depends onperforming well enough to keep God from rejecting us. Scripturepresents a better way.
In this teaching, Pastor CJexamines salvation as Scripture speaks of it in past, present, andfuture terms. We look at the difference between working out salvationand working for salvation, the call to abide in Christ, the warningsagainst departing from faith, the place of repentance when believersstumble, and how true grace produces transformation rather thanspiritual laziness.
The goal is not to become your ownsavior. The goal is to remain in Christ, trust His grace, walk inliving faith, obey, repent when you fall, and keep going until therace is finished.
Primary passages include Ephesians2:8-10, Philippians 2:12-13, John 15:4-6, Hebrews 3:12-14, Titus2:11-12, and 2 Timothy 4:7-8 (NKJV).

Jesus Christ is coming again, but Scripture does not call believers to spend their lives chasing dates, decoding every headline, or living in fear. It calls us to stay awake, remain sober-minded, walk in the light, put on faith, love, and hope, encourage one another, and faithfully do what God has placed in front of us. In this teaching from 1 Thessalonians 5, Pastor CJ looks at what it really means to live like Jesus could return. The question is not simply, “When is He coming?” The better question is, “How should I be living while I wait?”
Primary Text: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 (NKJV)
Supporting Texts: Matthew 24:42-46; Titus 2:11-13;2 Peter 3:10-14; 1 John 3:2-3
