The Capitals will not see the post season this week as the Philadelphia Flyers won their second to last game in a shootout to put the Caps to decide the Caps fate. The boys did have a successful final week going undefeated to keep hope alive but ultimately, it was too little, too late.

Are the Caps cooked? Well, they went .500 this week and that was simply not good enough as they played 2 teams well out of playoff contention and got blown out both times. New Jersey and New York both ran roughshod over the Caps and it was an absolute embarrassment and a head scratching loss of 4 points.

The playoff picture now looks incredibly dim as the Caps can't afford to lose another team, foreal this time!
