This podcast mini series has been produced by the Office of the Children’s Guardian Carers and Residential Workers Monitoring Team to support the out-of-home care sector understand the Registers.
This series delves into the NSW Carers' Register and the NSW Residential Care Workers' Register for out-of-home care and adoption services. We will explore the function and effective use of the Registers. We will also discuss support and supervision of carers and the oversight required of residential care workers and what we look for when we are assessing and monitoring agencies.
