The No More Bullshit Series

Not another "wake up at 4am, run 10k, eat salmon and rice, and completely change your life by next Tuesday" kind of thing.

This is just real conversations about life. The good days. The shit days. The moments when you feel completely stuck, and the small things you can actually do to make things a little better.

Because you don't need to flip your entire life upside down overnight. Real change takes time. Small steps, consistency, patience, and sometimes just getting through the day, that counts too.

So this series is going to take its time as well. No rush to get anywhere, no fixed formula, no ten-step plan.

That's why it's called The No More Bullshit Series. No pretending I've got life figured out. No performance, no forced positivity. Just honest thoughts, motivational moments when they're earned, and whatever I'm learning along the way.

Let's see where it goes.

  • EPISODE TWO: Why do they irritate me so much?
    2026/09/08

Ever met someone who irritates the absolute shit out of you? 😂

They’re too loud, too opinionated, too needy, always late, always talking over people… and somehow they just get under your skin.

But what if the things that irritate us most in other people are actually showing us something about ourselves?

In this episode, we’re talking about the parts of ourselves we see in others - the behaviours that trigger us, the qualities we secretly recognise in ourselves, and the uncomfortable truth that sometimes the person driving us mad is holding up a mirror.

It’s not about blaming ourselves for every annoying person we meet. It’s about getting curious, looking inward, and asking:

“Why does this bother me so much?”

Because self-awareness is great… until it starts pointing the finger back at you. 😅

A conversation about projection, personal growth, self-reflection, and those “oh shit… maybe I do that too” moments.

I had one today! I took it as a lesson instead of an attack. We are all learning here 🫶🏼

And that’s where we’ll leave it for today.

Maybe the next time someone really pisses you off, instead of immediately thinking “God, they’re annoying,” take a second to ask yourself:

“What is it about them that’s actually bothering me?”

It might just teach you something about yourself.

Thanks for listening, thanks for being here, and thanks for figuring this whole life thing out with me - because honestly, what the actual f*** are we doing?

Until next time… be kind to yourself, stay curious, and remember: sometimes the mirror is a little too accurate. ❤️

  • EPISODE ONE: What the actual F*** are we doing?
    2026/09/01

I’ve spent most of my life trying to be successful, happy and “doing well” - but recently I had to ask myself…

Was any of it actually for me?

Little Zak learned that impressing people meant being worthy of their love.

    So Little Zak grew up.

    And became Bigger Zak.

    Same shit. Bigger goals.

I’m 29, and I’m finally starting to question the things I’ve spent my life chasing - and why I’ve been chasing them.

I don’t have the answers. I’m figuring it out too.

    So let’s talk about it.

    Welcome to Episode One.

    I’m Not Talking Shit.

    Come unwind.

What have you spent your life trying to prove - and who were you trying to prove it to?

And that’s where we’ll leave it for today.

Maybe the next time someone really pisses you off, instead of immediately thinking “God, they’re annoying,” take a second to ask yourself:
