Betty, we hardly knew ye.

Here it is.. the end of an era. Betty's fate sealed with a kiss from a telephone pole.

Tragic, yet not unexpected. And that's only the begining of the end... There's also the immediate aftermath, the passengers, the police, the job situation and some divine timing.

The Universe has a sense of humor, and apparently my life is held together by the same duct tape that attempted to hold the hole shut in Betty's soft top.

Some hooligans decided to go on an absolute rampage through the neighborhood one night, and our backyard got robbed. They took a few things, including any desire I had to ever own a soft top again. I talk about an Alice in Wonderland rave that could have been epic, followed by a 2am drive home on a curly mountain road.

And somehow, in the middle of all this, I land a job in the government? Specifically the government branch that is in charge of motor vehicles… and then I forgot to use my brain and uh… By the end of this episode, things… take a turn for the worst.

POV: The year is 2010. You're 18, driving a '94 BMW convertible with the top down, blasting T.I. and way too confident in your driving skills.

Basically... it's a great example of what NOT to do when you get your Drivers license. Lots of bad descisions, lots of self roasting and lots of luck.
