This week on The Mulligan Man Podcast, we’re heading to South Jersey for a closer look at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club.

Ryan sits down with Director of Golf Wally Tittelmayer to talk about his journey in golf, what brought him to Blue Heron Pines, and what makes this property such a unique golf experience in New Jersey.

We get into the history and personality of the course, the Carolina-style feel created by the towering pines and sandy landscape, the variety of holes throughout the routing, and the work that goes into delivering a country club-style experience on a public golf course.

Wally also takes us behind the scenes of Blue Heron Pines, sharing some of his favorite holes, where golfers can get themselves into trouble, what first-time players should know, and what the future holds for the property.

After spending the day playing and filming the course, it was great to sit down with someone who knows Blue Heron Pines inside and out and hear the story behind the golf course.

Because everybody’s got a golf story. 🌲⛳️

This week on The Mulligan Man Podcast, we share a story that goes far beyond birdies, bogeys, and what happens on the scorecard.

Ryan sits down with Luis Mejica, a retired U.S. Army combat veteran and participant in the NJ HEROES Tour, along with Christina Paulsen, Foundation Manager at the New Jersey Golf Foundation and Director of the NJ HEROES Tour.

Luis opens up about his military service, the transition back home, his struggles with PTSD, and how golf became an important part of his journey. For Luis, the game provided much more than a hobby. It gave him an outlet, friendships, camaraderie, community, and a place where he could feel connected again.

Christina takes us behind the scenes of the NJ HEROES Tour, how the program began, the veterans it serves, and the incredible work being done through the New Jersey Golf Foundation, PGA Professionals, and PGA HOPE to use golf as a vehicle for healing and connection.

This is one of those conversations that reminds us why we started this podcast in the first place. Everybody has a golf story, but sometimes that story is about much more than golf.

🎙️ A powerful conversation about service, healing, friendship, purpose, and the ability of this game to change lives.

This week on The Mulligan Man Podcast, Ryan is joined by returning co-host Bobby Smith and Rich Kennedy from NJ Golf, who helps organize and run NJ Golf Member Golf Days and the Ultimate Team Event (UTE).
