  • Mental Health: The Conversation We're Not Having
    2026/09/16

Mental health is real—even when you can’t see it. ❤️

In this episode of the Mr. & Mrs. Smith Podcast, we’re having a conversation that too many people still avoid: mental health.

    This one gets personal.

We share our own experience with postpartum depression—what it looked like inside our family, how difficult it was to recognize and understand at the time, and what we learned going through it together.

But this conversation goes beyond postpartum depression.

We talk about depression, anxiety, the pressure to appear like everything is okay, and why someone can look completely fine on the outside while fighting something very real on the inside.

Most importantly, we talk about how we can do better—as spouses, parents, friends, family members, coworkers, and simply as people.

    In this episode, we discuss:

❤️ Our family's experience with postpartum depression
🧠 Why mental health struggles aren't always visible
🤝 How to better support someone who's struggling
🗣️ Why talking about mental health matters
👨‍👩‍👧 How mental health can affect an entire family
❤️‍🩹 What we wish we understood sooner
💙 How we can create more compassion and less judgment

Just because you can't see someone's struggle doesn't mean it isn't real.

If you've experienced postpartum depression, anxiety, depression, or another mental health struggle—or you've loved someone who has—we hope this conversation makes you feel a little less alone and encourages more of us to talk openly about what we're going through.

  • The Generational Curses We Refused to Pass Down | Mr. & Mrs. Smith Podcast
    2026/08/19

Every family has a story. But not every story has to continue. ❤️

In this episode of the Mr. & Mrs. Smith Podcast, we dive into one of our deepest and most personal conversations yet—generational curses.

What are generational curses? Are they simply bad habits passed from one generation to the next, or something deeper?

We share the patterns we recognized in our own families, the struggles we faced because of them, and the intentional choices we've made to give our children a different future.

This isn't about blaming previous generations. It's about recognizing unhealthy cycles, extending grace, and making the difficult decision to change the legacy we leave behind.

    • What "generational curses" really mean
    • The unhealthy patterns we experienced growing up
    • The conversations that changed our marriage and parenting
    • How we've intentionally worked to break those cycles
    • The legacy we hope to leave for our children
    • Why healing starts with honest conversations

Whether you're raising children, preparing for a family, or simply trying to become a healthier version of yourself, we hope this conversation reminds you that your past doesn't have to define your future.

    👇 Question of the Day:
What's one unhealthy family pattern you've worked hard to break—or hope to break—for the next generation?

    2026/08/13

In this episode of the Mr. & Mrs. Smith Podcast, we dive into one of the most important conversations we've had: relationships and boundaries.

This episode isn't about marriage. It's about the relationships we all have with friends, family members, coworkers, and the people we allow into our lives.

As we grow, our relationships naturally evolve. Some become stronger. Others become more distant. And sometimes, the healthiest thing you can do is create boundaries that protect your peace, your mental health, and your family.

We share our personal experiences, lessons we've learned, and why saying "no" isn't selfish—it's often necessary.

    • 🤝 Why relationships naturally change over time
    • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Setting healthy boundaries with family
    • 👥 Navigating friendships through different seasons of life
    • 💼 Managing workplace relationships without sacrificing your values
