    Gimcrack - In a future swallowed whole by environmental disaster, a nomadic young woman finds her survivalist values tested when she meets a mother and daughter in need of protection.

    The Night of the Living Dread - An animated comedy. When a power cut ruins Rosie's bedtime routine, she finds herself haunted by some unwanted guests. The only way Ruby can get a peaceful night of sleep is to confront her visitors. 

    Something in the Closet - A young tean comes to terms with her sexuality, her relationships with her friends and her mum. 

    Billi - The brave and gritty story of Billi, a 25-year-old bratty egomaniac who wants a half-head of highlights.

  • Speech Share: RESET THE STAGE

    We’re proud to share these teasers of the RESET THE STAGE monologues!

     

    Seven ethnically diverse writers from our PLAYSTART alumni were each commissioned to write a bold new monologue. Each writer was allocated a leading industry playwright mentor - Lucy Prebble, Alice BIrch, Inua Ellams, Nathaniel Martello-White, Bijan Shebani, Theresa Ikoko and Duncan Macmillan.  

     

    The Monologues were filmed on the stages of 7 London theatres - The Almeida, Bush Theatre, Soho Theatre , Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, Arcola Theatre, Southwark Playhouse and Young Vic.

     

    There is another chance to watch monologue films streaming on Thursday 1st July 7.30pm (available until Saturday 3rd July 9pm).
