Many of our girls are on summer break right now and we want to use this opportunity to help them hear God's voice while the voices of their school environment may be a little softer.

This Summer at Momz With Girlz we are focusing on slowing down - at least our hearts and minds - to hear Jesus, while connecting with our girls, our community and building ourselves up. In todays episode we talk about the next sessions of Psalm 139 and how they are relevant to us as moms, and the context for our girls too.

Today we continue the conversation we started after surveying a bunch of girls with the questions below. It was eye opening, and has already made us cogniscient of how we're interacting with our girls.

2. What are a few things your mom has said or done that has made you comfortable to talk to her/ share something with her?
3. Share a question (or a couple) that you wish your mom would not ask.
4. What could your mom do/say that would make your want to share?

We heard from the girls!
We surveyed girls ranging from upper elementary to college age with 4 questions about sharing or shutting down with their moms. It was eye opening to us and we'd like to share what we heard from them with you. It's going to transform the way you parent your girls.

Here are the questions we asked:

2. What are a few things your mom has said or done that has made you comfortable to talk to her/ share something with her?
3. Share a question (or a couple) that you wish your mom would not ask.
