  • Regulation Over Relaxation: The Stress Management Shift Every Mom Needs
    2026/07/07

As busy moms and entrepreneurs, we're constantly told to "just relax" or "take a day for yourself." But true stress management isn't about escaping your life, it's about becoming more resilient within it.✨

In this episode of The Mompreneur Collective, I sit down with Kimberly Thibeaux, Owner of Brain Injury Nurses of Acadiana, to unpack what nervous system regulation really means and why its one of the most important skills every mompreneur can develop.

Together, we explore why regulation doesn't always mean slowing down, it means learning how to respond to stress in the way your body actually needs. Sometimes that looks like rest and other times it looks like movement, deep breathing, stepping outside for fresh air, or a simple therapeutic pause.

    We also discuss:

    • What it actually means to feel overstimulated as a mom and what to do when you get there
    • The difference between down-regulating and up-regulating your nervous system
    • Why three diaphragmatic breaths can literally signal safety to your brain
    • How to recognize your own stress signals before it's too late
    • The different types of rest (physical, mental, emotional, sensory, and social) and how to know which one you need
    • Why scrolling, avoidance, and other "quick fixes" often leave us feeling even more depleted
    • Simple, practical ways to regulate your nervous system that don't require a spa day or hours of free time

If you've ever felt like you're living in survival mode, constantly giving to everyone around you while you're running on empty, this conversation will leave you feeling seen, understood, and equipped with practical tools you can start using today.

Because the goal isn't to eliminate stress all together... its to build the resilience to move through it with greater awareness, intention, and grace. 💛

  • Why Every Mom Needs a Village: Birth, Postpartum, & Building a Support System
    2026/06/23

In this episode of The Mompreneur Collective, I sit down with Dr. Alayna Clark, Owner of Birth Acadiana Chiropractic, and Host of the Birth Acadiana Podcast, for an honest conversation about birth, postpartum recovery, motherhood, and what it really takes to build a business that supports your life.

We share our own birth stories and the unexpected challenges that followed; From preeclampsia, C-sections, episiotomies, and breastfeeding struggles to difficult postpartum recoveries and the physical healing aspect of it that many moms aren't prepared for. We laugh about how even the best birth plans(even the laminated ones😆) don't always go as expected and why preparing for multiple possibilities matters.

We explore the importance of preparing not just for labor, but for postpartum too. We talk about the wealth of resources available to support moms and babies, the power of education in helping women feel informed and empowered, and how understanding your options can completely transform your birth experience(like it did for me💛).

Beyond birth and postpartum, our conversation expands into the realities of mompreneur life. We discuss mom guilt, burnout, building trust in others, and the importance of creating a support system that allows you to thrive. We also talk about redefining success, making intentional choices that align with your values, and letting go of the belief that you should be able to do it all alone.

If you've ever struggled with asking for help, felt overwhelmed by the demands of motherhood and entrepreneurship, or wondered how to create more support in your life, this episode is for you.

Because the truth is: you were never meant to do motherhood alone.🫶🏻

  • Success Looks Different In Every Season
    2026/06/09

Motherhood & entrepreneurship both require us to constantly evolve. The challenge is learning how to embrace the season we're in instead of comparing ourselves to who we used to be.

In this episode of The Mompreneur Collective, I sit down with Owner of Collab Beauty Lounge, Taylor Credeur, to talk about the many seasons of motherhood and how they've shaped her business journey. From building her business with one child to leading a thriving team while raising two children, she shares how her priorities, schedule, leadership style, and definition of success have shifted over time.

We discuss the sacrifices that sometimes come with choosing presence over productivity, why every season requires something different from us, and the importance of giving ourselves grace as our lives and businesses evolve. We also dive into delegation, building a supportive team, creating systems that support your family, setting boundaries, and the reality that moms were never meant to do it all alone.

This conversation is a reminder that growth doesn't always have to feel like expansion...sometimes growth looks like slowing down, adjusting your expectations, and honoring what matters most right now.

If you're navigating a season of change, feeling stretched between motherhood and business, or wondering how to balance ambition with presence, this episode is for you.

Because the season you're in wont last forever and neither will the version of you that's moving through it. 💛
