  • Dr Matt Agnew on lost curiosity and life after The Bachelor
    2026/06/24

You might know Dr Matt Agnew from The Bachelor, but did you know he once ran giant simulations hunting for hidden Earth-like planets? Today Matt joins Myf to talk about his life as an astrophysicist, and his gorgeous new kids' video podcast Why Though? Along the way they get into everything from whether we're alone in the universe to why we lose our curiosity as we grow up. Matt also talks about the hurdles that came after The Bachelor, and how he now uses the platform the show gave him to champion the things he cares about: mental health, ending domestic violence, and getting kids excited about science.

*Hosted by the queen of culture herself, *The Moment with Myf Warhurst* unpacks ‘The Moment’ that has everyone talking, diving deeper than the headlines to give the details you need in the time you’ve got.

  • The day AI came for Australian music
    2026/06/23

Myf had her mind blown at the opening of MONA's wild new library in Hobart, where the books light up and you can breathe air no human has ever breathed before. Myf also digs into the AI scandal rocking the Australian music world, with Kylie Minogue, Nick Cave, Tame Impala, Midnight Oil and Darren Hayes among the artists whose work was used to train AI music software without their consent. Plus a quick run through the 2026 Logie nominations.

  • Finding yourself again at 40... with Eliza Hull
    2026/06/22

You're 40. You're supposed to have it all figured out by now. And then, quietly, everything comes apart. This is the story of what musician Eliza Hull found on the other side of her own unravelling... the anger she stopped hiding, the version of herself she'd lost touch with, and the boldest music she's ever made. Myf knows all about this chapter of coming undone and could it be the most freeing thing that can happen to a woman in midlife?

  • There's no one way to be a foster carer
    2026/06/17

When Anthony arrived in residential care in regional NSW and met his residential care worker Will Mafi, it was meant to be temporary - a place to land until a permanent home was found. But three years later, after other placements were explored, Anthony made a decision that changed everything: he chose to stay with Will, long-term.

On this episode of The Moment, DCJ foster carer Will joins Myf Warhurst and Lynne McGranger - Australia’s most famous (fictional!) foster carer on TV - to talk about how a single, gay, proud Tongan foster dad became exactly the person one young man needed in his corner... and why there’s no such thing as a 'right' type of foster carer.

Right now, there’s a real shortage of foster carers in New South Wales. NSW residents, if this story lands with you, search “Become a foster carer NSW” to find out more or go to nsw.gov.au/fostercare.

  • What the Kylie Documentary Reveals About How We Treat Women
    2026/06/16

Myf is fresh from hosting the ARIA Hall of Fame, where six artists were finally given their due... and she's thrilled to see women being celebrated at last, with Vika and Linda going to number one the very next day. But the new Kylie Minogue documentary has her thinking hard about how cruelly we've treated our female pop stars, from Kylie to Britney to Amy Winehouse, and why it has to stop. She also gets into the Tyra Banks lawsuit over the America's Next Top Model doco, and pays a moving tribute to the late David Hockney and the love behind his work.

  • What playing Irene taught Lynne about foster care
    2026/06/11

For 32 years, Lynne McGranger played Irene Roberts on Home and Away... the woman who threw open her door to young people in need and quietly parented a whole lot of Australians along the way.

This week Myf sits down with Lynne to talk about life after the show, that Gold Logie moment, and the Irene-shaped hole she's left behind. It's also a conversation close to Myf's own heart, as the two get honest about foster care, family and what it really means to show up for a kid who needs someone in their corner.

NSW listeners, search "Become a foster carer NSW" to find out more or go to nsw.gov.au/fostercare

  • Roland Gift, Fine Young Cannibals and a very good Soho story
    2026/06/10

Myf and her brother Kit grew up loving Fine Young Cannibals and their raft of hits, so getting the voice behind She Drives Me Crazy on The Moment is a genuine thrill. Forty years on, Roland Gift is still funny, still surprising, and still chasing the beat. And Myf finds out just who interrupted Roland Gift's night in a Soho club to tell him she loved his cover of Suspicious Minds. My goodness!

Roland is one of the voices on a wonderful new podcast, Hit That Perfect Beat: The London Records Story, an immersive, star-studded deep dive into one of pop's greatest untold stories... the confidence, chaos and cultural impact of one of the UK's most influential record labels.

Listen to 'Hit That Perfect Beat' where ever you get your podcasts & the companion 40 track digital compilation is out now and available here: https://londonrecords.lnk.to/compilation.
