  • Dalton and Sako Fall-Out and How Hard Will Cardi B Ride for Her Team
    2026/08/12

    Send us Fan Mail

The internet will watch you fall in love, but it will also demand front-row seats when things fall apart. We start with real-life laughs from our Topgolf hangout, then pivot into the viral chaos around Dalton and Sako and the bigger question behind it all: when your relationship is public, do you ever get privacy back when the cameras go off?

From there, we get into the part nobody romanticizes, the business side. If you work for your spouse’s company and the relationship ends, do you stay on payroll, quit, or get “access denied” overnight? We talk boundaries, power, and why mixing love and money can turn a breakup into a daily workplace war.

Then we hit the pop culture headlines: Cam’ron calling out Cardi B’s team and threatening to leak private footage over money and an interview, plus why that kind of move can look like blackmail and backfire hard. We also unpack K Michelle’s comments about Shaboozey, what artists owe each other in the Black country music lane, and when “support” turns into entitlement. We wrap with Verzuz talk, our “Trippin’ Or Not” segment, the fake Usher debate, and a wild TikTok relationship question that somehow turns into the most honest moment of the whole show.

  • Why The Las Vegas Aces Deserve Better Than Hot Takes
    2026/08/06

    Send us Fan Mail

A $10 million bet sounds like fun until you hear what it’s really saying. We break down the viral claim that the Las Vegas Aces could be beaten by a high school boys basketball team, why that “debate” keeps getting oxygen, and how it turns elite women’s basketball into a shortcut for clicks. If you’re a real WNBA fan, you already know how wild that framing is and we say it with our chest: put respect on the league and on A’ja Wilson.

From there we get into the bigger WNBA conversation sports media keeps dodging. Is the face of the league the best player, or the player who brings the most attention? We go back and forth on A’ja Wilson versus Caitlin Clark, including how rivalries, race, and storylines shape what casual fans see. Then we zoom out to the NBA and ask a question that’s harder than it sounds right now: who is the face of the league in 2026, and does being the best even matter for that title?

We also switch gears into classic Mixed Vibes territory: podcasting as a hobby versus a hustle after hearing a take about “self-funded podcasts,” a quick argument about sunglasses indoors and the energy it gives off, plus a ranking of Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, J. Cole, and Wale concerts with some painfully accurate fan stereotypes. We close with a raw story about heartbreak, bad decisions, and learning the hard way.

If you rock with the pod, subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a rating and review so more people can find us. What’s your take: A’ja or Caitlin as the face of the WNBA?

  • Drafting The Ultimate Breakup Playlist Across Decades
    2026/07/31

    Send us Fan Mail

Heartbreak has phases, and we decided to draft them. We’re building a breakup playlist live, round by round, with categories that match real life: male-led and female-led anthems, begging songs, confessions, missing-you records, back-outside rebounds, wild cards, toxic joints, plus decade picks from the 90s through the 2020s.

The picks get heated fast. We’re pulling from R&B breakup songs and classic breakup anthems like “Irreplaceable,” “So Sick,” and “Bust The Windows Out Your Car,” then swerving into pop and rap choices that still fit the breakup mood. That opens up the big question: are we drafting strictly R&B, or are we drafting the real soundtrack people play when they’re hurt? The debate is loud, the logic is petty, and the playlist gets better because of it.

By the end, we recap every category so you can recreate the full breakup playlist for your next late-night drive, your glow-up era, or that “I’m done” moment you need to feel in your chest. If you love music debates, relationship talk through songs, and discovering the best breakup songs across decades, this one’s for you.

Subscribe wherever you listen, share this with a friend who needs new breakup music, and leave a review. Who won the draft, and what song did we miss?

  • $200 Loan Turns into $200 Million, How Much You Giving Back?
    2026/07/23

    Send us Fan Mail

The fastest way to start an argument is simple: bring up a rivalry, a rap Mount Rushmore, and money. We do all three, starting with a Louisville vs Kentucky TBT alumni game that had us heated, especially once the injuries piled up and the celebrations got disrespectful. If you’ve ever watched your team lose and felt it in your chest, you’ll understand the rant immediately.

From there we jump into a clip that had social media talking: Lil Boosie keeping it real about those moments when “your man” just won’t cooperate. It turns into a hilarious but honest conversation about pressure, timing, and why it always seems to happen when the opportunity is perfect. Then we lock into full hip hop podcast mode with a Mount Rushmore of hooks, debating heavy hitters like T-Pain and Nate Dogg, questioning picks like Akon and Swae Lee, and throwing in names like Pharrell, Jeremih, and Ty Dolla $ign. We also build out a separate Mount Rushmore for rappers featuring on R&B songs and argue where Wayne, Luda, Jeezy, and Drake belong.

The debate energy keeps going with a real-life ethics question: if someone loans you $200 and you turn it into $200 million, what do you owe them, and what does gratitude look like when the stakes are ridiculous? We close with NBA culture and nostalgia, talking Victor Wembanyama on the NBA 2K cover, the “participation trophy” argument, and our reactions to a Complex top LA songs list that had us calling out snubs and missing classics. If you like sports talk, rap debates, and unfiltered friend-group logic, hit play, then subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review. What’s your Mount Rushmore of hooks?

  • Is It Cheating If Your Partner Cheated First?
    2026/07/12

    Send us Fan Mail

Would you flip draft picks for Bronny James if it guaranteed you also landed LeBron James? We start there and immediately run into the real questions NBA fans argue about every day: what’s the actual price of a superstar, how does roster fit change everything, and is LeBron better treated like a power forward at this point in his career. We also talk about what that move could mean for Bronny’s minutes, development, and whether riding with your dad feels like a dream situation or a retirement tour you’d rather skip.

Then the conversation jumps from basketball into the loud world of sports media and celebrity narratives. We get into the constant churn of NBA shows, why it’s easy to burn out on nonstop debate content, and how quickly platforms switch directions when a contract ends. From there, we unpack the LaVar Ball and Lonzo Ball relationship headlines and the bigger issue behind them: when a public figure shares personal details, the internet doesn’t treat it like a private moment, it treats it like a storyline. We argue over what counts as cheating, whether “living your truth” helps or hurts, and how double standards shape the reaction.

We close with a fast-moving culture run: Lil Wayne tour drama and what fans are owed when tickets aren’t cheap, Drake streamer clips and Saucy Santana’s clapbacks, and a real debate on BET Awards choices like Kendrick Lamar winning again versus artists who arguably had the bigger year. We even touch Zeus Network celebrity boxing, including Ray J vs Orlando Brown, while giving props to Clarissa Shields for building a bigger platform for women’s boxing. If you like NBA rumors, hip hop news, and unfiltered sports and culture talk, tap in, then subscribe, share with a friend, and leave a review. What part do you disagree with most?

  • Building The Ultimate Bedroom Playlist Across Decades
    2026/07/09

    Send us Fan Mail

The fastest way to start an argument with your friends is to ask for the best baby-making song then make it a draft. We’re back with our patented musical draft, building a real bedroom playlist under pressure: male-led, female-led, male group, female group, 80s through 2020s, plus overrated, underrated, and a wild card that can swing the whole game.

The picks go from timeless R&B slow jams to modern vibe records, and we don’t just name songs, we defend them. You’ll hear why classics like Marvin Gaye, Prince, Teddy Pendergrass, and The Isley Brothers still dominate the mood, and how 2000s and 2010s staples keep showing up when it’s time to get serious. Then we get messy with the overrated slot, the underrated sleepers, and the strategic steals that have somebody yelling “that was my pick!”

The funniest part is how real life collides with playlists, including a story that proves kids should not be left alone with YouTube search. And when the 2020s round hits, we debate what counts as baby-making music versus “singing in the kitchen” music, complete with a veto moment.

Listen through, then vote with us when we post the poll and playlist. Subscribe, share with a friend, and leave a review so more people can jump into the draft and argue their picks too.

  • Grease Or Duck Sauce Please Stop
    2026/07/03

    Send us Fan Mail

One minute we’re talking summer heat and mom’s cooking, the next we’re arguing about the most unhinged slang we’ve ever heard and why some words should be retired forever. That’s the vibe: funny first, but we still end up on real themes like respect, boundaries, and what we normalize when everything becomes a clip.

We get into R&B tour excitement with Eric Bellinger and Mario, then take a hard left into a ridiculous “waves of kindergartners” survival scenario that somehow turns into an actual debate about strategy and stamina. From there, we react to the Kirk Franklin confrontation video and talk about why bringing someone’s spouse into an argument is a shortcut to chaos. Wedding talk follows naturally: smoking rules, keeping it outside, protecting the venue deposit, adult-only weddings, and whether sneakers can still look classy with the right suit.

Then we zoom out to culture and entertainment news: the BET Awards, which categories are missing, and how Black creators in books, voice acting, sitcoms, podcasting, and even superhero roles deserve more shine. We also weigh the backlash around Young Miami’s “Spin That” and India Arie’s comments, asking what “don’t like it, don’t listen” really means in a viral music economy. We close with sports talk, an NBA trade rant, and a blunt warning about sports betting culture. Listen, subscribe, share with a friend, and leave a review, then tell us which debate had you yelling at your phone.

  • Black Music Versus Black Food, One Has to Go
    2026/06/25

    Send us Fan Mail

A messy question turns into a full culture check: if getting a superpower required hooking up with a superhero, who are we choosing and are we picking for power, money, or pure attraction? We get into Teen Titans nostalgia, big-name comic picks, and the funniest loophole of all: the idea that Tony Stark’s real superpower is wealth. It’s wild, but it also sets the tone for how we talk about pop culture the way people actually talk about it with friends.

Then we hit a debate that gets surprisingly real: would you rather keep Black music or Black food if one had to disappear? We argue comfort and tradition versus the way hip hop, R&B, gospel, and global Black sounds fuel our lives. We also say the quiet part out loud for anyone thinking about cultural impact: remove Black influence and a huge chunk of modern music changes overnight, even for artists outside the culture who borrow the sound.

From there we pivot into music talk and entertainment news, including reactions to big releases, how we find new artists through social media, and the hype around Pretty Ricky versus B2K in a Verzuz-style battle. We close out with BET Awards weekend energy, thoughts on Drewski hosting, and our predictions across key categories, plus a quick sports moment where we make it clear who we think deserves the shine. If you like hip hop podcast conversations, R&B talk, Verzuz debates, and BET Awards predictions with jokes and honesty, this one’s for you.

Subscribe wherever you listen, share this with a friend who argues about culture for sport, and leave a review so more people can find the show.
