    In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly talk about the most significant things they’ve learned this year. For Kelly, it was reaffirming her resilience. For John, it was learning the disc profile. Understanding that he is a D. He’s an action taker and does things fast and is focused on tasks. Whereas John’s precious wife Ginger is a C. She does things slow and is a perfectionist. Also focused on tasks. This has been powerful in John’s life to understand this because we all have a natural tendency to think that people who don’t see things the way that we see them are simply wrong or inferior. Not so. They’re just processing information differently. Appreciating this subtle difference is powerful.

    And so the takeaway lesson is take the disc profile and understand the personality type you are and the personality type your spouse is. And understand your weaknesses so that you can compensate for them. During this podcast John also talks about the things he learned from his class at the University of Texas. So many interesting things. Most people didn’t realize they are WIRED FOR SURVIVAL. And the effect of that is that 75% of their thoughts are fear-based and they’re reactive rather than proactive on their important agenda.

    The other big thing they learned is that 95% OF THEIR DAILY ACTIONS ARE UNCONSCIOUS. And one’s daily actions determine your success in each area of your life.   • You Become Aware of Your Daily Actions AFTER You Take Them

    In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the concept that 95% your daily actions are unconscious. The significance of that is your daily actions determine your success in each area of your life. So we will go deep on this topic today. And here’s what we see. Lots of people think that all of their daily actions are conscious. The reason they feel that way is they are aware of all their daily actions. Accordingly, they think they are consciously made. But they are NOT consciously made. What actually happens, and this is scientifically proven, is a vast majority of your actions happen unconsciously and then a split second later you become conscious of it.

    As an example, if you’re feeling stressed you might unconsciously eat a snack. But once you’ve started eat the snack, only then do you become consciously aware of it. But the actual action of starting to eat the snack happened unconsciously. In this episode to prove this point that your actions happen unconsciously and then you become aware of them, John engages with chat GPT. Very interesting discussion.

  • Key Behaviors on Your Goals – Measuring Them
    2025/05/29

    In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the concept of measuring the key behaviors on your goals. During this podcast at the start John mentions that by using the TIBI methodology, you’re living your life quarter by quarter. Which means that you have a new goal for your career, a new goal for your romantic relationship, and a new goal for your health every quarter. Accordingly, you define the goal, define the why behind the goal, then list the three or four key behaviors associated with the goal. Then how are you going to measure achieving the goal and the timeframe. The timeframe is always the end of the quarter.

    During this podcast John mentions that it’s critical to get the TIBI app from the Apple or Google app store. The primary purpose of the app is to measure your key behaviors every Sunday morning. And it’s very simple. You are allowed in the app to track seven key behaviors on your three different goals. And so the process begins by each Sunday morning recording your numbers for the most current week. Then once you’ve got the numbers in for the current week, the second step. You compare your current week’s numbers to your goal and also maybe your prior week performance. Then you see what you need to improve on. This takes all of about three minutes. But it’s incredibly powerful.

    During this podcast John and Kelly also talk about the idea of challenging your subconscious mind with deadlines. John got this idea from a podcast done by Ed Mylett on the subconscious mind. He was saying that the subconscious mind responds to deadlines. Try that in your life. Something that you’re trying to figure out, give your subconscious mind a deadline for doing so.

  • The Creation Of Your Thoughts – You Can Influence It (Encore)

    In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John explained the topic of today’s episode. The creation of your thoughts – you can influence it. And John presented an interesting concept. The thoughts that are going on in your head on an ongoing basis determine both your level of success as well as your enjoyment of life. No one denies that. But what’s interesting is you can influence your thoughts when they are created. Let me restate that. When they are created.

    And here’s the opportunity. 95% of your daily thoughts and actions are unconscious. The fact that they are unconscious is actually the opportunity. Because if the opposite were true, and the majority of your thoughts were conscious, it be impossible to control your thoughts. But the key thing to appreciate is that since they are unconscious, that’s actually the opportunity. The vast majority of thoughts actually originate in the subconscious mind. And by properly programming the subconscious mind with the succinct articulation of your life each day, exactly what you want to accomplish and how you’re going to accomplish your goals, that’s the repetition that influences the subconscious mind. That’s what then causes the right thoughts to happen at their creation. Which then in turn causes the right actions to happen.

    But the big take away from today’s episode is that you can influence the creation of your thoughts. The other big take away is that 98% of people don’t do anything to influence their subconscious mind. That’s exactly why so many people only use their conscious mind to set intentions. Then they are puzzled as to why those intentions never turn into reality. Well it’s because they’re not influencing the part of their brain that controls their actions. The subconscious mind. Therefore the needed actions don’t happen to turn those intentions into reality. All that is fixed with our 12 minute a day morning routine that influences your mindset. More specifically influences the creation of your thoughts in the mechanism that is generating your thoughts. The subconscious mind.

  • Getting More Enlightened – It Will Improve Your Life

    In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the concept of getting more enlightened over time. It’s not a linear process. In this episode John goes into eight moments in his life where something happened and he got materially more enlightened. The first time was when he read the book psycho cybernetics at 19. Then it 27 he discovered what his special talent was. The ability to make the complex simple. Then at 30 he saw the power of being an entrepreneur.   • You’re the PROBLEM but You’re Also the SOLUTION

    In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the idea that you are both the problem and the solution. And to illustrate this idea, Kelly shares something interesting going on in her recruitment business. Her company wants to go to eight figures a year in revenues. But they can’t seem to get past seven figures a year in revenues. When you step back, Kelly is both the problem and the solution. Her company is a reflection of her. And while they are very successful, the company isn’t as successful as Kelly would like it to be.

    And through self-awareness, and tuning into reality, Kelly realized that she needed to go to someone that was already playing the game at a higher level in the recruitment business. So she finds someone in Denver. She didn’t know what she didn’t know. But she knew there were things she didn’t know. And now from seeking the wisdom of someone playing the game at a higher level, she has transformed her business. And she saw in detail that she was the problem in terms of how she was hiring and compensating her people. Now she’s getting much higher quality people with a better comp plan. This is a perfect example of you’re both the problem and the solution.

    During this podcast John and Kelly talk about the high-performance habit of deep thinking twice a week. This is the skill that allows you to tune into reality and also figure out your business. There is a constant dance between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. So during these deep thinking sessions, that’s all conscious mind figuring out your business and your life. And then when you figure it out, the enlightenment is reflected on your life GPS template. Then you feed that to yourself each day. That influences the subconscious mind. The doing part of you. Which then causes the right actions to happen automatically without thinking to create the desired life you want.

  • Your Life is Precious – Coming to Grips with That
    2025/05/01

    In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the idea of making the audience appreciate individually how precious their life is. Coming to grips with that. John talks about when this really came home in his life. It was when his mom was dying of pancreatic cancer when he was 50 years old. At the same time John was engrossed in reading think and grow Rich probably 20 times to figure out the full secret of that legendary book. And as he would go to the hospital every night to see his mom, after he saw her he would cry his eyes out in the hospital parking lot for like 45 minutes every night. John had never experienced anything so gut wrenching. What he came to realize was that he felt like he was letting his mom down with his average life.

    After his mom and dad had given him all the advantages. That’s when John really came to appreciate how precious his life as he saw the gift of life leaving his mom. And in the end, that feeling of letting his mom down with his life with like rocket fuel in causing John to go deeper than anyone on the planet ever had to figure out the full secret of think and grow Rich. And the essence of what John created with his 12 minute a day technique is a way of doing life. Most people are just winging life. They don’t have an actual way of doing life. But that’s what the think it be it 12 minute a day methodology is. An actual way of doing life. During this podcast John also brings up another concept. You’re the problem and you’re the solution. Whatever problem you have in your life you are the problem.
