  • Are 95% of Your Actions Really Unconscious
    2025/09/11

In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly dig deeper into the idea that 95% of your daily actions are unconscious. The classic way we explain it is as follows. Your actions determine your success in each area of your life. It is well documented that 95% of your daily actions are unconscious. Accordingly just connect the dots. Your subconscious mind controls your life. And if you want a higher level of success, you have to gain control over those unconscious daily actions. But one thing that John finds interesting from appearing on various podcast is often times the host will acknowledge that they know that 95% of their daily actions are unconscious but do not do anything about it.

Kelly provides some great wisdom on this topic. First of all, she says that often times people didn’t know they could do anything about it. Well that’s exactly what the think it be it methodology is all about. The 12 minute a day technique. Taking control over those unconscious daily actions. The other thing Kelly astutely points out is that most people aren’t thinking about this anyway. They’re just gliding through life living life at a shallow level. Not getting much thought to the implications of 95% of their daily thoughts and actions being unconscious. Once you listen to this podcast, you will have a deeper and richer understanding of this fundamental concept that when you think about it, is life-changing.

  • Four Powerful Emotions – That Will Instantly Change Your Life
    2025/08/07

In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly play a short clip from the legendary Jim Rohn, one of the founders of the personal growth industry. He talks about four powerful emotions that will instantly change your life. John then plays the clip. After the clip, John and Kelly talk about it. One of the emotions discussed is getting to the point where you say “I’ve had it”. John notes two times in his life when he had reached this point. Another one of the emotions is the attitude of get it done – rather than continuing to try to make a decision. This is so true. People will agonize over making a decision. It’s paralysis by analysis.

The other powerful emotion is desire. The “want to” to make a change in one’s life. And then the last one is resolve. Being determined to make the change. Then John and Kelly talk about something John is observing in a number of people he is close with. At around the age of 30, people are trying to really figure out what they’re going to do for career. That’s a natural time because it takes until you’re about 30 to figure out what your strength is and know what’s up in the real world.

John gives the advice to figure out your strength and play into it. And don’t be deluded by things you could do. You could probably do a lot of things. But you have to play into what your unique talent is. And factor in the future. Things are changing so quickly you have to figure out what career has longevity to it. You also have to understand what stage of life you’re in. And are you living in a city that facilitates your stage of life.

  • Your Identity Determines Your Actions
    2025/07/31

In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the concept that your identity determines your actions. Kelly is a big believer in this. As an example, if you see yourself as being on top of your health then it’s reflected in your exercise routine and your plan for eating. You make sure that you exercise and eat in accordance with being someone who is on top of their health. Kelly points out that she is blessed to net seven figures a year. So she has that image of herself and tuned into what would a person netting seven figures a year do.

Then John comes in and talks about his identity. His foundational belief is that his life is precious. And he amplifies what Kelly says. I’m on top of my health. And from that identity it impacts my eating and exercising. John also says that he plays the game of life at his full potential. He does his best. That’s who he is. During this podcast John and Kelly also talk about three different levels of think it be it. The first level is just creating success. In your career, in your romantic relationship, and your health. Controlling your daily actions. Then those upgraded daily actions create success in each area of your life.

Then the second level. Impacting your identity. Using this methodology you’re either changing it or refining it. It’s really a spiritual experience to feed the succinct articulation of your desired life to yourself each day. Who you want to be, and what you want to accomplish, and how you are going to achieve your clearly defined goals. It’s impacting the creation of your thoughts. It’s impacting your love of self. Healing past wounds. Impacting your confidence level. Making life more enjoyable and creating more happiness. Giving you a sense of control over your life. And you can change the consciousness level at which you operate. Then the third component is the ripple effect. Once you learn this methodology, you want to share it with your friends and with your kids.

  • The Struggle of Life: And the Solution
    2025/07/24

In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly discuss the struggle of life, then the solution. So little back story on this topic. Recently John met a brilliant guy that is in the field of maximizing brain health. He read John’s book and had a candid suggestion for John on how to improve the book. He said there w was not enough explanation of the struggle that people go through in life. He said that before we give them the solution, we have to get them to buy in that I understand their struggle. That’s a very valid criticism.

So during this podcast Kelly talks about her struggles earlier in her career. The struggles really began for her in her mid-30s. As she was launching into being an entrepreneur. She felt like she wasn’t playing to her potential. There was more gas in the tank. And John experienced the same thing is 30s and 40s. He worked harder than all his friends. But why weren’t his results matching his efforts. John had the naïve perception that he deserved big success because he was working harder than his friends. How unenlightened is that.

Then for both John and Kelly, things shifted when they learned how the human mind works. From John discovering the secret of think and grow Rich. Which gave each of them immensely more control over their lives. John then goes on to talk about your subconscious mind is either your greatest asset or it is your greatest nemesis in life. It’s your choice. If you do nothing, your subconscious mind remains your greatest nemesis. Because it’s innately wired for survival. Causing you be fear-based and reactive. Alternatively, you can stop winging life and do the think it be it 12 minute a day methodology. That gives you control of your subconscious mind.

  • QUESTIONS – The Power To Influence (Encore)
    2025/07/17

In this episode of The Missing Secret Podcast, John and Kelly talk about the power of using questions to influence people. Kelly has built her business career around asking great questions. It plays out throughout her life. John talks about using questions to influence people regarding embracing think it be it. As an example, sometimes he will ask a person how do you create success in your life. That’s a question they probably haven’t been asked before. And so after a minute or two of stumbling around looking for the right answer, it becomes apparent to both John and the person that they don’t really have a way of creating success in their life.

Then John asks the killer second question. How’s that working for you? John then politely and respectfully gives them the answer. It’s not working out as well as you would like because you’re just winging life. You don’t actually have a way of doing life. When someone asked John how he creates success, he has a pretty clear answer. Your daily actions determine your success in each area of your life. 95% of your daily actions are unconscious. Therefore I gain control over my unconscious daily actions by feeding the succinct articulation of my life to myself each day. That rewires my autopilot. And causes the right actions happen automatically without thinking. And I have a powerful force pulling myself forward to my desired life. John gives another example. Oftentimes he will say that the most significant thing he ever learned in his life is that 95% of a person’s daily actions are unconscious. And so he will ask the question to someone as to whether they believe that or not. More often than not, they say they do believe it.

Then the second killer question. So what are you doing about that? Do you see the profound implications of that? The Takeaway is using questions are profound. In the last half of the episode John and Kelly talk about this idea of deep thinking two times a week. A powerful technique that is part of the think it be it methodology. It’s a three-step process. The first step is just sit down and write in your thinking tablet anything that comes up for the first 10 minutes or so. Then the second step. Figure out a question to ask yourself. Usually regarding what your biggest challenge at the moment is. Then the third step is to recap what you learned and defined the action steps. John and Kelly discuss in the think it be it methodology this ongoing dance between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. The deep thinking technique two times a week is influencing the conscious mind. Then the daily reading of one’s visualization is impacting the subconscious mind.
