Hello, my loves!

In this week's diary entry, we are asking the question: What is God asking of me? This is such an important question, as I think it's easy for us to forget that the whole point of being children of God is to sit with Him and ask Him, "God, what is it that you are asking of me?" I've been reminded a lot lately of just how important it is to leave room for God to speak and to leave room for His heart to be revealed in our situations. I often forget, but in this diary entry, I wanted to create space for an introduction to allowing God to speak to each of us about what He thinks and what He desires.

I pray that you find comfort in this diary entry and that God speaks to you in whatever way that He deems necessary. Hey, hey, hey!

In this week's diary entry, we're talking about desire... mmm, mmm, mmm, something we are all well acquainted with. I know that I definitely am, and in this season there are a few things that God is teaching me that I wanted to share with all of you. Self-expectation and desire are very real things, and God encourages us to dream big because He's a big God, but it's also important to know where that desire is rooted. What is fueling that desire? And, ultimately, are your desires God's desires?

What's up, family?!

I hope you are all doing so well and having an amazing start to May :) Y'all, I'm so excited for this diary entry as it's something that was heavily on my heart and I just thought it was really important to talk about. Navigating expectations from your family is not easy, and sometimes, our family, unintentionally or unknowingly, can cause more pressure than they realize, and it can create fear, resentment, or frustration within ourselves. Truly, I believe that the majority of our loved ones want the best for us and simply don't want us to make the same mistakes they did, but what if they simply let go and trusted that God would not let us fall and that his will is perfect? What if we surrendered our lives to him because his opinion and expectations are truly the only things that matter? We dive deeper into these questions and more in this diary entry, and I pray that God speaks to you in every way that he wants to. I pray that you feel comfort, seen, and understood in this entry, knowing that you're not alone in this journey of navigating life and faith.
