Today's readings explore what it means to truly receive and respond to God's gift of life in him. Paul opens with a sweeping vision of how God has drawn all of creation into his purpose from the very beginning, while the Gospel shows what happens when that invitation is blocked or ignored. On the feast of Saint Teresa of Jesus, whose whole life was a joyful plunge into that divine mystery, listen for the contrast between open-hearted wonder and closed-off resistance. Today's Readings: • First Reading: Ephesians 1:1-10 • Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 98:1, 2-3ab, 3cd-4, 5-6 • Gospel: Luke 11:47-54
