In this first episode of She Regulates, Sarah Brooke gets real about what it feels like to be a woman today—and why so many of us feel like we were simply thrown into adulthood and told to figure it out.
We were never really taught how to process emotions, care for our bodies, manage the mental load, navigate motherhood, protect our energy, or deal with the constant demands being thrown at us. Instead, we’re expected to keep everyone else comfortable, carry everyone else’s responsibilities, and somehow still hold ourselves together.
Sarah talks about the impossible expectations placed on women, the never-ending “plate” we keep piling onto, burnout, motherhood, food, screens, modern life, and the loss of community and connection.
But She Regulates isn’t about complaining about everything that’s wrong. It’s about taking our power back.
This podcast is a space for honest conversations, holistic approaches to supporting your body, mind, and energy, nervous system regulation, processing what we’ve been carrying, and finding practical ways to navigate womanhood without constantly running ourselves into the ground.
Most importantly, it’s about finding the village we’ve been missing.
Because you don’t have to keep surviving every moment.
Welcome to She Regulates. Let’s do this.
