A chilling courtroom drama unfolds as Shu Man Poon, already guilty, takes the stand in the double murder trial of Mr. and Mrs. Kwok in Ellerslie, revealing how he was coerced by co-defendant Lok Fung Li into a brutal killing spree. Li allegedly threatened Poon’s family and demanded $7,000 to silence him, forcing him to participate in the violent attack that included multiple gunshots and a tomahawk strike. The case stems from a traffic incident where Li blamed the Kwoks, escalating into a rage-driven plot. CCTV footage and damning texts show Li’s relentless pressure—even after the murders—to drag Poon back into violence. Poon, once a reluctant protector who tried to warn authorities and steer Li away, now claims he took the fall to shield his friend. The trial reveals a story of manipulation, desperation, and irreversible tragedy, with Li visibly shaken by the presentation of the weapon used in the crime.
