このコンテンツについて
Melvin Crowe and his own disgusting flavor of vigilante justice sparked outrage (and potential unrest) in Forsyth County, Georgia when he stalked, shot, and committed a hate crime against Miguel Marcelli and Shirley Webb on July 26, 1980--simply because of their skin color. While Melvin received a pathetic 10 year sentence for this crime, the conversation is much bigger. Fran and Danielle are exploring the larger subject of the history of racial inequality in Forsyth County, as Melvin claims to be related to Mae Crow, the subject of a 1912 rape and murder that sparked decades-long racial tension in the area. Stay tuned for Part 2 next week--The Murder of Mae Crow.
