Emma shares some fantastic insight for parents who may be facing similar issues. We also discuss how difficult it may be to find a sleep practitioner who is suitable for you. - Do they hold a university degree or higher in the relevant field? (sleep, health or psychology)
- Have they completed additional specialised training in sleep from a credible source? (university professors, board certified sleep medicine physicians, clinical psychologists)
- Are they affiliated with a hospital, university, or research institute?
- Do they follow the safe sleep guidelines?
- Can they clearly explain the evidence behind their advice?
