Has the world gone mad with rampant woke ideologies, mainstream media and Government narratives that defy the facts, and a dystopian future in which we will have nothing and be happy? I discuss what happened to reality? with author, artists and filmmaker - Thomas Sheridan - to see if we can shed any light on the topic.

    Thomas Sheridan is an author, artist and film maker from Dublin, Ireland who came to international recognition in 2011 with the book Puzzling People: the Labyrinth of the Psychopath. In recent times, his work has been featured in some of the world's largest media outlets as the interest in his work into serial killers, occult history and mind control cults continues to grow, and has resulted in Thomas Sheridan becoming a much sought after public speaker due to his entertaining, if at times, hilariously funny and informative style of presentation.

    Thomas offers a holistic approach to all the topics he covers believing that by re-examining everything from art, mythology, the occult and on to social engineering that this can equip us with what he terms a 'consciousness firewall' in the face of pathological forces. His mantra of 'Feck Em If they Can't Take a Joke' has become a clarion call for others to never allow the dark forces of this world to wash over us, as well as to never take ourselves, or what we believe in too seriously.

    Jeff Belanger is an author, podcaster, storyteller, adventurer, and explorer of the unexplained. He’s written more than a dozen books that have been published in six languages, he’s the Emmy-nominated host, writer, and producer of the New England Legends series on PBS and Amazon Prime, he provides programs and lectures to audiences all over the world, and he’s been the writer and researcher for every episode of Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel.     Like me, Sylvia Shults is a collector of ghost stories and author but she is also a paranormal investigator. We had a fun conversation about our activities, what we had learned from them and about how she likes the historical context of the stories.

    She is the author of several books of paranormal nonfiction, including 44 Years in Darkness, Fractured Spirits: Hauntings at the Peoria State Hospital, and Ghosts of the Illinois River. She lives a short distance away from the haunted asylum that features in so many of her books. She considers it the highest privilege to share the incredible, compassionate history of the Peoria State Hospital. As a paranormal investigator, she has made many media appearances, including a tiny part in the Ghost Hunters episode “Prescription for Fear”, about the asylum.

    Sylvia’s books can be found at many libraries, and have been featured in area book clubs. Her most recent book, 44 Years in Darkness, has been named a runner-up in the Shelf Unbound Indie Book Contest, and has received a five-star review from Reader’s Choice. She is also a highly sought-after speaker, especially in October.
