The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

We know the words—but what happens when we have a very definite list of things we want God to work out? In this episode, Jenny puts a bookmark in Psalm 23 and shares why she keeps returning to these six familiar verses.

Jenny and Lee talk about weariness, our tendency to keep doing and carrying, and the challenge of allowing Jesus Christ to lead, nourish, restore, and provide. Sometimes our job isn’t to be the sheepdog. Sometimes He’s simply asking us to trust the Shepherd.

ABOUT US:

The Dents In My Armor is a podcast of BECOMING for LDS Women. Using sources of truth, Jenny D. Webb and Dr. Lee Burdge unfold Gospel topics in relatable conversations about how the challenges of mortality are completely conquerable when you draw upon the powers of Heaven. Laugh and cry along with them as they tackle topics like relationships, parenting, growing older, loss, love, faith, and joy. Jenny and Lee firmly believe that the dents we sustain in our armor as we fight life’s battles do not define us, but are merely evidence that we can stand firm in our faith, and like the Savior, overcome the world.
