What have you tried to do to fix the brokenness in the world? Many vote, serve, and try and be the change they would like to see. While these might be noble efforts, what the world truly needs is the presence of The Divine God. Everything else is only a band aid that at best delays the inevitable. This is not a blindness those in the world walk in, it is a malady even in the church, but God's Word has the prescription that brings life through Jesus. Are you ready for God to confront what is wrong in your world?

Lets travel back in time when you were a child. Remember when you were strong, fast, and had a full head of hair? No matter how strong we thought we were, there was always someone who over powered you (yea we don't talk about this, but between you and me, we know it is true). For me it was my older brothers who were always, faster, stronger and smarter than me, and every time we played a game, I was IT! Eventually I stopped wanting to play with them and accepted my fate of being weak.

Now 4 decades later, the same insecurity haunts me when The Holy Spirit tags me and says, "You are IT!" Oh I am so excited for you to hear this message, in it there is the Gospel, which is the power of God for you to get back in the game, and be glad that you are IT!

Everyone who is living grows old, but not everyone matures, and has a fruitful life. Why is this? Every ministry, church and minister of the gospel is capable of falling into this category of fruitless life if we stop repenting, obeying and relying of Jesus. What might have been a great season of victory can slowly turn into a season of dead end religion rooted in pride and hypocrisy. Today we celebrate 9 years of God's goodness in The Living Church, but are we growing, or just getting older? Wisdom is not something that shows up unannounced, it is cultivated and practiced first in private before it is put on a platform. When the platform is presented for wisdom to be put into practice, it comes with pressure that tests the wisdom that was cultivated in private. A good way to test this is to look at how you respond to unexpected obstacles, hurdles and threats. Anxiety is practicing for fear, but wisdom prepares you for purpose. Let's apply this as we learn from Proverbs 31 as we see the portrait of the wise woman and her private life of preparation.
