Did you know that the desire to feel and the instinct to avoid feeling can coexist? We explore the common lies we tell ourselves about our emotions and how these distortions can lead us to disconnect from our authentic selves. In our discussion, we also highlight why it’s important to validate our own emotions, even if we’re not able to express them. This episode focuses on the importance of our emotional narratives, emphasizing the need for self-kindness and empowerment through truth.
In our search for answers to “Should I approach life from an analytical or emotional perspective (or perhaps both)”, we explore the difference between intellectualizing feelings and actually feeling them. We also consider how our truths can evolve over time and how recognizing the present moment can significantly influence our physical and emotional states.
