Chris and Rene are BACK for Real Estate Talks 13!

Fresh off a trip to UWM, the largest mortgage lender in the country, Chris and Rene give a shout-out to their rep Mike and take a look at the machine behind Golden Bay Mortgage’s 10-day average clear-to-close. With rates climbing past 7%, they break down what’s really happening in the market. Buyers in the $700K–$1.2M range are still fighting through multiple offers. Chris shares how he’s keeping deals together when nervous buyers start pushing back mid-escrow. Rene reveals why DSCR loans are giving investors rates in the 7s without proving income, and how first-time buyers can weigh buying now against waiting. They wrap it up with football, including the Raiders’ tough stretch ahead and the Niners’ 4-0 start despite a stack of injuries.
