Under the amber glow of a hurricane lantern in a dusty attic, Luna opens a worn hardcover and reads stories that are not meant to be read alone. Each episode of The Lantern Anthology is a self-contained tale drawn from a fictional collection of lost and forbidden literature — forgotten folklore, abandoned manuscripts, letters never sent. The stories wander through isolated farmhouses at dusk, towns swallowed by forest, and roads that appear only on maps no one remembers drawing. Some whisper of bargains made with creatures beneath the floorboards; others speak of inheritances that should have been refused. There is no single arc, only the quiet certainty that the next story might be the one that follows you home. Luna's voice is a low, unhurried presence, as if she knows you are listening in the dark. Settle in. The lamp is lit, and the pages are turning. #TheLanternAnthology #LanternStories #AtmosphericHorror #FolkloreHorror #ForgottenTales #LostLiterature #CandlelitHorror #IsolatedHorror #RuralDread #StorybookHorror #NarratedHorror #FictionalFolklore #AbandonedPlaces #MidnightReading #CreepyTales #Horror #HorrorPodcast #StorytellingHorror Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo© 2026 Fexingo. • The Night the Laundromat Clerk Found the Photograph in the Dryer
    2026/07/30
It's three in the morning at the twenty-four-hour laundromat on Route 17 in Morrow, Ohio. The late-shift clerk, a man named Eddie, is wiping down machines when he hears a faint thumping from inside one of the dryers. He opens it expecting a forgotten sneaker, but instead finds a single black-and-white photograph of a young woman in a 1950s housedress, standing on a front porch. The house behind her looks familiar, but he can't place it. He tucks the photo into his shirt pocket and goes back to cleaning. Later, scrolling through old newspaper archives on his phone, he discovers that the house in the photo burned down in 1965, killing three people — including his own grandmother, who he never met. He looks at the photo again. She is smiling. The date on the back says October 14, 1965 — the day of the fire. And this was a laundromat that didn't exist until 1988. Unsettling, intimate, and quietly horrifying. #TheLanternAnthology #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #Laundromat #Photograph #Route17 #MorrowOhio #Dryer #1950s #Fire #Grandmother #Unseen #HushedTerror #Atmospheric #Standalone #NoAds #ListenerSupported #SmallTown Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

  • The Night the Archivist Found the Tape Still Running at the Cold Spring Historical Society
    2026/07/29
Emily, an archivist at the Cold Spring Historical Society, is digitizing old oral histories when she finds a reel-to-reel tape labeled 1973—a year the society has no recordings from. When she plays it, a woman's voice describes the very room Emily is sitting in, down to the crack in the window and the stain on the carpet. But the voice speaks of a fire that never happened. Or did it? As the tape continues, the woman's words become more urgent, more personal, until Emily realizes the voice is speaking to her, from a time that shouldn't exist. By morning, the tape is gone, and Emily is left with a single chilling question: was the woman warning her about something that already happened, or something that's about to? A haunting story about the echoes we leave behind, and the things that listen. #ColdSpringHistoricalSociety #Archivist #ReelToReel #OralHistory #VoiceFromThePast #1973 #FireWarning #MissingPerson #NightShift #SmallTownHorror #CreepyTape #Paranormal #HauntedArchive #RealisticHorror #Atmospheric #LunaReads #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

  • The Night the Seamstress Found the Dress Still Warm at the Stitching Post on Hill Street
    2026/07/28
In the autumn of 1997, the seamstress at the Stitching Post in Ashland took in a wedding dress for alterations. The dress was warm to the touch, as if it had just been worn. The name in the ledger belonged to a woman buried in the town cemetery forty years prior. Each night afterward, the seamstress would hear the rustle of fabric from the back room. She never saw the bride, but she knew she was there. A quiet, atmospheric ghost story about things that refuse to be left behind. #TheLanternAnthology #StandaloneHorror #GhostStory #Seamstress #WeddingDress #Ashland #SmallTownHorror #TheStitchingPost #AtmosphericHorror #HushedNarration #LunaReads #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #SlowBurn #Supernatural #Grief #UnfinishedBusiness #NightTerror Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
