This one is for everyone who has ever made themselves smaller so someone else could feel comfortable.
In this episode, I talk about something that has been sitting with me. The people we look up to - the ones whose light we admire, whose courage moves us, whose life makes us think I want that - are not showing us something out of reach. They are showing us what we already have inside us that we have not claimed yet.
They are a mirror.
And what you see in them is you.
I also talk about the Marianne Williamson quote that stopped me in my tracks. Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light - not our darkness - that most frightens us.
We are not afraid of failing. We are afraid of how bright we could actually shine.
And so we shrink. We edit ourselves. We perform a version of ourselves that makes everyone around us comfortable. And we call that living.
It is not.
I talk about the slippery slope of society, upbringing, and other people's expectations. How hard it actually is to choose yourself. What it costs. And why it is worth every single bit of that cost.
Because what you lose when you become yourself was never really yours to keep.
This episode is your permission slip.
Stop shrinking. Start claiming.
Nothing is off limits here. Let's land. 🌊
