  • AFL Fantasy 2026 – Round 24 Review | Season Wrap. Did Kaes win the flag? Boxshall, Steele & Swadling.
    2026/08/24

The 2026 AFL Fantasy season is complete! Heff is joined by Lewy for the final Keeper League Podcast episode of the year, reviewing Round 24 and wrapping up the season from a draft and keeper league perspective.

Grand Finals have been run and won. Heff recaps his loss in the Shiva before speaking to both grand finalists from the home league. After years of near misses, did Kaes finally claim his first premiership - or did he walk away again as the bridesmaid?

Sam Swadling finished the year with another huge performance, scoring 110 points from 32 disposals, six marks and a goal. After spending time across the wing and defence—and even taking a couple of kick-ins—does he have all the ingredients to become a genuine long-term fantasy option?

Roan Steele continued his strong finish to the season with 87 points from 24 disposals, five marks and three tackles. He averaged almost 80 across his final three matches, but is his outside role enough to make him worth investing in ahead of 2027?

Hugh Boxshall backed up last week’s breakout performance with another tonne, finishing on 108 points from 17 disposals, nine tackles and three goals. With consecutive scores above 100 and an opportunity in St Kilda’s midfield, is he shaping as one of the most intriguing young keeper prospects heading into next season?

We also work through plenty of other names worth monitoring, including Beau Addinsall, Angus Anderson, Logan Morris, Billy Wilson, Harrison Petty, Joel Fitzgerald, Mitchell Edwards, Seth Campbell, Daniel Curtin, Will Setterfield, Jai Serong, James Rowbottom, Jesse Dattoli, Milan Murdock and more.

As always, it’s about working out what was real, what was role-driven, and which performances should influence your keeper decisions for 2027.

Thanks to everyone who listened, followed, shared the show or became a member throughout the 2026 season.

We’ll see you again next year!

  • AFL Fantasy 2026 – Round 23 Review | Huge Boxshall, Super Swadling & V-Good Vigo
    2026/08/17

It’s grand final week! Heff is joined by Matty D’Sena to review Round 23 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective.

Vigo Visentini backed up his impressive return with a huge 120 points from 19 disposals, nine marks, six tackles, 14 hitouts and a goal. He’s now averaging 110 across his two AFL appearances this season, so should coaches grab him off the waivers for the grand final and beyond?

Sam Swadling produced the best performance of his young career, scoring 104 points from 29 disposals and seven marks. With his ability to find space on the outside and collect plenty of uncontested possessions, are we looking at a future fantasy pig—and is now the time to buy in keeper leagues?

Hugh Boxshall also reached triple figures, finishing with 104 points from 21 disposals, 11 tackles and 19 centre-bounce attendances. With St Kilda’s midfield lacking depth, could the tackling machine establish himself as a genuine long-term fantasy option?

We also work through plenty of other names worth monitoring, including Bradley Hill, Jack Macrae, Liam Stocker, Blake Acres, Nick Haynes, Billy Wilson, Stephen Coniglio, Beau McCreery, Roan Steele and more.

    As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike.

If you're playing draft and keeper leagues, this episode is packed with the insights you need to make the right calls for grand final week and prepare for next season.

Good luck to everyone competing in their keeper league grand final!

  • AFL Fantasy 2026 – Round 22 Review | Dattoli Dominates, Should I McStay or Should I Vigo?
    2026/08/10

This week Heff is joined by Jordy D'Sena to review Round 22 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective.

Jesse Dattoli made an immediate impact in his first AFL appearance of the season, scoring 97 points from 23 disposals, seven marks and two goals. After finding plenty of the football across half-forward, has he shown enough to become a genuine waiver or keeper league stash?

Daniel McStay continued his good form with a massive 115 points from 20 disposals, five marks, five tackles, five hitouts and three goals. He now has a three-game average of 107.7 and faces a Hawthorn side that has been generous to key forwards, but can coaches genuinely trust him during fantasy finals?

Vigo Visentini also impressed on his return, producing 96 points from 17 disposals, four marks and 33 hitouts. With uncertainty surrounding Nick Bryan, could Visentini become a valuable late-season ruck streamer?

We also work through plenty of other names worth monitoring, including Dylan Stephens, Kai Lohmann, Matthew Johnson, Jai Serong, Braeden Campbell, Jhye Clark, Oscar Ryan, Ned Long and more.

    As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike.

If you're playing draft and keeper leagues, this episode is packed with the insights you need to stay ahead of the curve.

Good luck to everyone still competing in their keeper league finals!

  • AFL Fantasy 2026 – Round 21 Review | Bring Back Billy, Stocks Up on Stocker & Vital Cogs
    2026/08/03

This week Heff is joined by Zanks to review Round 21 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective.

We welcomed back Billy Dowling with a massive 107-point performance from 18 disposals, 11 marks and three goals. After consistently producing big numbers in the SANFL, can he keep scoring despite playing predominantly forward at AFL level, and is he worth an aggressive waiver bid?

Stephen Coniglio continued his resurgence with 99 points from 20 disposals, six marks and three goals. With favourable matchups against Gold Coast and West Coast on the horizon, we assess his short-term value and whether his forward-heavy role makes him too volatile for coaches heading into finals.

Liam Stocker also impressed with 102 points from 25 disposals, eight marks and three tackles. He now has a three-game average of 88.3, but is his recent form and role sustainable enough to trust against Carlton this week?

We also work through plenty of other names worth monitoring, including Daniel McStay, Jhye Clark, Oscar McDonald, Oscar Ryan, Lachlan Bramble, Will Lorenz, Toby Bedford and more.

    As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike.

  • AFL Fantasy 2026 – Round 19 Review | Welcome Back Worpel, Half-Back Clark & Bryan Goes Bang
    2026/07/20

This week Heff is joined by Matty D’Sena to review Round 19 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective.

James Worpel made an immediate impact in his return to Geelong’s side, scoring 102 from 24 disposals, six tackles and a goal. With Mitch Knevitt and Jack Bowes omitted, Tanner Bruhn injured and Max Holmes sidelined, has Worpel done enough to hold his spot and re-establish himself as a reliable fantasy option?

Jhye Clark also caught the eye with 98 points in a new role across half-back. After collecting 25 disposals and nine marks, we assess whether the role can stick and if the former top-10 pick should be back on the radar in keeper leagues.

Nick Bryan finally delivered the ruck performance coaches have been waiting for, producing 111 points from 17 disposals, 31 hitouts and two goals. With his time on ground increasing, are we beginning to see signs of a genuine fantasy breakout?

We also work through plenty of other names worth monitoring, including Bailey Scott, Jay Polkinghorne, Campbell Lake, Cooper Harvey, Noah Mraz, Oliver Francou and more.

    As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike.

  • AFL Fantasy 2026 – Round 18 Review | Ed Allan 2G4P, Ruck Lobbster & Streaming Van Rooyen
    2026/07/13

This week Heff is joined by Warnie (Traders and DT Talk) to review Round 18 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective.

Ed Allan is one of the biggest stories of the round and has officially entered 2G4P territory. After continuing to show promising signs at AFL level, we discuss his role, scoring potential and whether he can become a reliable fantasy option rather than another short-term tease. With Allan attracting more waiver claims than any other available player this week, how aggressively should coaches be pursuing him?

Rory Lobb is back on the fantasy radar thanks to his move into the ruck. The “Ruck Lobbster” role has given him a clear scoring boost, but how long will it last, and what happens when the Western Bulldogs’ other ruck options return? We assess whether he is worth a significant waiver bid and whether he can be trusted on the field.

Jacob van Rooyen also demands attention following his six-goal performance. While the ceiling was impressive, key forwards can be difficult to rely on in fantasy. We look at whether his recent form makes him a genuine option or whether he is better used as a matchup-dependent streamer.

We also work through the other popular names on this week’s waiver wire, including Rhylee West, Joel Fitzgerald, Mason Wood, Cameron Zurhaar, Harry Morrison, Flynn Riley, Marcus Herbert, Riley Hardeman, Will Brodie, Matthew Cottrell, Luke Nankervis and more.

    As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike.

  • AFL Fantasy 2026 - Round 17 Review | Zeke Brings Heat, Karl Worner 2G4P & All Aboard Addinsall
    2026/07/06

This week Heff is joined by Jake from Hat Chat to review Round 17 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective.

Zeke Uwland was the headline act of the round, exploding for a massive 146 points for Gold Coast. With 32 disposals, 16 marks and a half-back role that looks to suit him perfectly, owners are finally being rewarded. We dig into whether this role is here to stay, what the Rioli injury means, and whether the Gulden comparisons are starting to make sense.

Karl Worner was another huge story after putting up 108 points for Fremantle. With 29 disposals, 10 marks and a role across half-back that continues to deliver, he has officially hit 2G4P territory. We discuss whether he has become a genuine fieldable defender and what his strong recent form means for keeper league coaches.

Beau Addinsall was another exciting name from the Suns, scoring 86 from just 67% time on ground. He ran through the midfield, looked comfortable at the level, and appears to be making the most of his opportunity. We look at where he sits compared to the other young Gold Coast options and whether coaches should be getting on board.

There’s also plenty more to get through, including Oliver Francou, Noah Mraz, Jacob van Rooyen, Cooper Harvey, Jagga Smith, Edward Allan, Mattaes Phillipou, Darcy Byrne-Jones, Patrick Dangerfield, Ned Moyle and more.

    As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike.
