The Justice Seeking Part
When something feels unfair, unfinished or denied, a part of the inner world may not be able to settle. It may keep returning to what happened, longing for truth, repair, accountability or the dignity of having reality named.
This episode begins with the part that seeks justice.
The Justice Seeking Part is a Sourel for the woman who has been asked to move on too quickly, soften too soon, forgive before she was ready, or make peace with something that was never truly acknowledged.
This reflection honours the part within her that needs fairness, honesty and recognition. Not because she wants to stay trapped in anger, but because something in her knows that truth is sacred. The nervous system is not only soothed by comfort. It is also soothed when reality is no longer denied.
The Justice Seeking Part explores the longing for someone to say, yes, that happened. Yes, that mattered. Yes, there was an impact. And when that acknowledgement does not come from outside, this Sourel gently opens the possibility of internal justice: the moment a woman stops denying her own experience.
This episode asks, what truth needs to be honoured here. What impact is afraid of being forgotten. What repair might begin inside me, even if it never arrives from the place I hoped it would.
The Justice Seeking Part is part of The Fire Within, a September Sourel series for women returning to the sacred wisdom beneath anger, truth, dignity and inner knowing.
Justice does not always begin with someone else admitting what happened. Sometimes it begins when you stop abandoning your own truth.
If you find yourself wanting something to return to between these reflections, in the actual moment a pattern like this one takes hold, I also built an app called Settle and Source. It offers a ninety-second guided practice for exactly the kind of moment this reflection has been describing, the gap between noticing an urge and knowing what to do with it. It is not a replacement for anything here, simply another door, in case it is the right one for you. https://settleandsource.com
