    2022/06/18
Award-Winning, Finnish Blues Singer and Songwriter Ina Forsman calls in to The Junk and Jam Hour - all the way from Berlin, Germany - to discuss the joys and challenges of the work she had to put in to ensure that her latest, and third solo album, entitled 'All There Is' , was not just an exceptional collection of soul and blues music, but one that showcased her growth and evolution as an artist. Hailed as a contemplative songwriter, and a "vocal powerhouse," Ina's amazing musical journey began when she declared at six-years-old, that she was going to.be a singer, and started touring with a band at the age of 17. Other than discussing her upbringing, Ina shares her inspiration for some of her latest music, in particular lyrics that were born from the conversations she has recently had with the men in her life, and how some of the music was derived from the classic Motown sound. She also shares her passion for the blues genre, and how it has shaped her as an artist of soul. We also listen to and discuss her latest tracks, Don't Lose Today, a song about how our angst for building a better future for ourselves and loved ones, makes us easily forget how important it is to make the most of today, as well as Poor Heart, a song about our challenges with perseverance.   For more music by Ina Forsman, including her album All There Is - which critics have called a profound body of work - visit Ina Forsman For more about Junk and Jam, visit Junk and Jam Also visit Radio Free Brooklyn Background/bed music provided by freebeats.io
