  • Every Game We've Ever Played: Psychopath Tests, Blind Ranks & Real Names
    2026/10/14

No guest this week. Just the games.

Craig has been running bits on Lil Wayne for thirteen episodes, and this is all of them in one place. A personality test that returns a genuinely alarming result. A blind rank of five songs Wayne has now promised to sample. Rappers' legal names that sound nothing like their stage names. And the five worst New York Jets moments, ranked with Darrelle Revis, ending exactly where you think it ends.

Along the way: Professor Wayne gives advice to a man heading to federal prison, Amar'e Stoudemire builds a starting five to save humanity, Plaxico Burress explains the juice bar franchise, Bart Scott settles urinal etiquette, Kevin Connolly admits what he bought at one in the morning, and Wayne explains how Swizz Beatz came to buy him a camel.

  • DeSean Jackson on the Punt Return, Getting Cut & His Own QB
    2026/10/07

DeSean Jackson spent fifteen seasons in the NFL, made three Pro Bowls, and still holds the record for touchdowns of sixty yards or more. He is now a head coach at an HBCU, doing it, in his words, with a lot less.

He tells Lil Wayne and Craig Carton what actually happened in Philadelphia when the Eagles let rumours about his friends stand without correcting them. He explains why his own quarterback publicly said he didn't deserve a Pro Bowl selection that no player in NFL history had earned before. And he goes back to the Giants punt return, where Wayne spots something in the footage that DeSean doesn't deny.

Plus: why he turned down a first-round baseball career, what Wayne said to Skip Bayless to vouch for him as a coach, and what he found when he went to Auschwitz.

Before that, Wayne answers your emails. Unreleased Drake material, whether his abs are real, and the mafia dinner where he learned to wait.

His documentary Go Deep is out now on Amazon Prime.

  • Tyra Banks on Kobe, Michael Jackson & Her First Lil Wayne Collab
    2026/09/30

Tyra Banks joins Lil Wayne and Craig Carton.

She recorded a song with Kobe Bryant in her twenties. He coached her through the vocals in a studio on Santa Monica Boulevard, and then met someone on the set of that music video who would change his life.

She was one of the morphing faces in Michael Jackson's "Black or White." She was the first Black woman on a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover, and thirty years later it still makes her emotional to talk about. She has turned down three enormous jobs she still lies awake regretting, and one of them was with a legend who is no longer here.

She also ignored a message from Lil Wayne asking her for a verse. That gets settled on air.

Plus Wayne ranks the athletes who tried to rap, confirms the unreleased Kevin Durant track is coming out, and explains how his aunt worked out what his voice was before he did.

    2026/09/16

No guest this week — just Lil Wayne and Craig Carton, and some of the best stories Wayne has told on the show.

He explains how he found Nicki Minaj, why the New York Yankees threatened to sue him over the Young Money logo, how he got taken advantage of financially early in his career and what it taught him, and why his son's Division I offer from Deion Sanders means more because the kid earned it himself. • 25 Years Later: Remembering September 11th
    2026/09/11

This week marks 25 years since the September 11th attacks. In a special edition of The Joint Venture Show, Lil Wayne and Craig Carton share where they were that morning.

Wayne was a teenager on tour, asleep in a Manhattan hotel room, when the phone rang, and his mother asked him what building he was in. Craig was on the radio, taking calls from people inside the towers who had been told to stay where they were.

Both men describe a city of strangers who, for a few days, looked after each other completely. As Wayne puts it: it takes tragedy for people to be humane.

    2026/09/02

Kevin Connolly — Eric "E" Murphy from Entourage — joins Lil Wayne and Craig Carton on The Joint Venture Show, and immediately walks into Lil Wayne's moon landing theory.

Kevin talks about growing up as a child actor, life after playing one of TV's most recognizable characters, directing Gotti and screening it for a theater full of people connected to the Gotti family, filling in on sports radio, and the roles he came close to landing. Then he turns the tables on Wayne with a conspiracy question of his own.

    2026/08/26

Owen Hanson won two national championships at USC. Then he became a bookmaker, moved cocaine internationally, lost $3.2 million of a cartel's money, and served nine years in federal prison.

He tells Lil Wayne and Craig Carton the whole story on The Joint Venture Show: how a walk-on became one of the most connected men in illegal sports betting, the client whose losses pulled him into trafficking, the shipping method nobody suspected, the meeting in Tijuana he was certain he wouldn't survive, and the business he built from inside a prison cell.
