  • Brandy Rangel & Joachim Rangel, Brandy Rangel Ministries | The Jeff Crilley Show
    2026/03/12

Texas has no shortage of churches and ministries, but every once in a while I meet leaders whose story truly stops me in my tracks.

On this episode of The Jeff Crilley Show, I sit down with Brandy and Joachim Rangel, the husband and wife team behind Brandy Rangel Ministries in Seguin, Texas.

Brandy’s journey is nothing short of remarkable. As a child, she was diagnosed with rheumatic fever and told she would never walk again. Later, doctors said she would not live past 26 due to a heart defect. She recently turned 50.

She is not just surviving. She is thriving.

Today, Brandy and Joachim lead a nonprofit ministry focused on reaching those who feel lost, forgotten, or trapped in cycles of abuse. They work with survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, offering spiritual guidance, practical support, and when needed, connecting people to additional resources.

What struck me most was this, Brandy does not speak from theory. She is a survivor of abuse herself and spent seven years in counseling to ensure she was fully restored before stepping into ministry to help others. One of her favorite success stories involves helping a woman safely leave an abusive marriage and rebuild her life. That is impact.

Joachim’s steady support and shared passion for serving the community make this a true partnership. Together, they are committed to helping people understand their identity, their worth, and their purpose.

If you or someone you know feels lost, overwhelmed, or in need of support, this conversation is powerful and hope filled.

  • Matthew Maresch, Ashbury Boutique Wealth Management | The Jeff Crilley Show
    2026/03/12

One of the biggest mistakes people make in retirement planning is treating Social Security like a guessing game.

On this episode of The Jeff Crilley Show, Jeff sits down with Matt Maresch of Ashbury Boutique Wealth Management to talk about why the decision of when to take Social Security should be built around a personalized income and expense plan, not generic advice from a neighbor or a headline.

Matt explains how risk tolerance directly shapes investment strategy, and why true diversification means more than just spreading money across a few accounts. It means building multiple solutions designed to help weather market volatility while keeping long term goals in focus.

We also discuss creative pension strategies and how thoughtful planning can dramatically change someone’s retirement outlook. Matt shares a powerful real life client story that shows what is possible when you align income planning, asset allocation, and long term care considerations under one comprehensive strategy.

Beyond retirement income, we talk about estate planning and multigenerational wealth. A strong plan does more than protect one individual. It can create stability and opportunity for an entire family.

If you are thinking about retirement, caring for aging parents, or wanting to build a legacy for your children, this conversation is packed with practical insights.

Watch the full episode to learn how a personalized, family first approach can transform your financial future.
