  • Servant or Self-Serving? The Choice at the Heart of Esther
    2026/08/04

Have you ever looked at your life and asked, "God, where are you in this?" Maybe you feel surrounded by chaos with no sign of His hand moving. In this episode, I take you deep into the book of Esther, adding history I researched myself that most people have never heard, so you can see the full picture of what was really happening behind the scenes with Vashti, Esther, Mordecai, and Haman. My hope is that by the end, you'll walk away understanding that wherever God has placed you, whatever influence you carry, you are there for a reason, and He wants to know what you'll do with it.

    Three reasons to listen:

1 - Understand the influence you carry, at home, at work, anywhere.

2 - Get the real history behind Esther that reframes the whole story.

3 - Take a hard look at your own heart posture.

    Where to dive in:

00:00 Why Esther's story is for you, right now

13:59 Who was King Ahasuerus, really?

18:25 Vashti's downfall: the cost of doing your own thing

38:23 Esther rises: beauty, humility, and obedience

47:16 Mordecai refuses to bow to Haman

    1:05:10 "If I perish, I perish": Esther's courage

    1:08:35 Haman's plot backfires

1:13:58 What's your heart posture today?

  • Wake Up, Church! Your Personal Alarm Is Going Off
    2026/06/16

Have you ever hit the snooze button on something you knew you needed to deal with, and then watched the consequences pile up? In today's episode, I'm digging into one of the most overlooked truths in Scripture: time is a governor over our lives, and the wise are the ones who know what time it is.

Drawing from 1 Chronicles 12:32, Psalm 90:12, Ephesians 5:15-17, and the tragic stories of Hezekiah's Judah (Isaiah 22) and King David (2 Samuel 11-12), I walk through what happens when we ignore the "set times" God has placed over our lives, and what it looks like to live awake, alert, and ready for the Lord's return.

    In this episode, you'll hear:

    • Why "knowing what time it is" is a mark of biblical wisdom (and what happens when we don't)
    • The story of the sons of Issachar, and what it means to have "understanding of the times"
    • How Judah's leaders did all the right things in the wrong order, and what it cost them
    • The domino effect of King David's one moment of ignoring God's timing
    • Why even the godliest among us are still bound by time
    • How a "kingdom first" mindset changes the way you steward your time
    • A personal wake-up call to examine what season you're really in

    Where to Dive In:

0:00 - Do You Know What Time It Is?

2:20 - Loving God's Word: From Junk Food to Living Bread

20:22 - The Sons of Issachar: Understanding the Times

27:02 - A Time for Every Matter Under Heaven

29:22 - Judah's Tragic Mistake: Wise Moves, Wrong Order

32:56 - You Did Not Look to Your Maker

40:37 - King David: A Man After God's Heart, Still Bound by Time

44:00 - The Snooze Button That Changed Everything

50:28 - The Domino Effect of Ignoring God's Timing

53:04 - The Clock Is Ticking: Salvation Is Nearer Now

  • King Josiah and the Cost of Ignoring God’s Word
    2026/05/12

In today’s episode, I’m walking through the story of King Josiah and what happened when he finally heard the Word of God read aloud. What struck me most is that Josiah immediately recognized how far the people had drifted from God’s commands—and he responded with humility, repentance, and action.

As I studied these passages in 2 Kings 22–23 and 2 Chronicles 34–35, I couldn’t help but reflect on how easy it is for us to follow traditions, culture, or even inspirational messages without truly knowing what God’s Word says for ourselves. This episode is a challenge for all of us to examine whether we are living according to Scripture or simply following the patterns around us.

    In this episode, you’ll hear:

    - Why King Josiah’s response to God’s Word still matters today

    - The danger of replacing sound doctrine with inspiration alone

    - What it really means to walk without turning “to the right or the left”

    - How conviction from the Holy Spirit leads us back to freedom

    - Why true repentance changes the way we live

    - The difference between following God’s Word and following tradition

    - How to stay spiritually focused in a distracted world

    Where to Dive In:

0:00 — Have We Been Doing It Wrong All Along?

3:10 — Who Was King Josiah?

11:05 — Why Josiah Was Different from Other Kings

21:50 — Discovering the Book of the Law

39:20 — Inspiration vs. Real Discipleship

50:45 — Why Sound Doctrine Confronts Us

    1:03:00 — Josiah’s Tragic Final Decision

1:12:30 — What True Repentance Really Looks Like

1:17:30 — Final Challenge and Prayer

    Scriptures Referenced:

    * 2 Kings 22–23

    * Isaiah 29:13

    * Matthew 15:8
